Zao’s hotels are really popular during the winter season. I booked this hotel at the end of September last year, partly because there were only a few rooms left across all of Zao. Also, many hotels wouldn’t offer refunds if you canceled your reservation, except for Klook, which offered an 80% refundable deal. However, Klook’s price was slightly higher than Booking’s, and it didn’t have a messaging feature.
The food was great, but quite similar each day. I don’t think I could’ve had it for more than four nights without complaining.
I wasn’t sure if the ski outfits and equipment provided at the hotel were good enough, so I decided to rent them from Jupeer, which took more time. But one nice thing was that you could call the front desk to request a pickup, or arrange transportation in advance if you wanted to go somewhere.
