Good Zurich is expensive. This place was fine. Road a little loud. Entrance a bit rough but room was clean and communication good. Ok for a cheap hub to go out and explore from.

The room was very disappointing and would not suit light travellers as there was no amenities other than a small bathroom, a sink and an outdated half a pillow. No kettle , no air conditioning or fan, no basics, broken iron and small table.Taps were loose , black mould in the bathroom, shutters broken and propped up so the sun comes in. All day. Toilet seat not fastened , no thing whatsoever in the kitchen other than 1 sponge . Entrance and stairs dirty . Room stinking hot , we had to buy a fan. Would not recommend .

I stayed here for nearly a month. It was disgusting and I had to buy a lot of things myself. The only nice things I can say is that is it located on a train line and the housekeeper was friendly. I literally could not wait to leave this hell hole.
- broken cabinet door leaning up against a wall
- no hand soap, dish soap, or anything to clean dishes. Had to buy my own.
-only one tall stainless steel pot, no pan or useful utensils so couldn’t cook. No spoon.
-no shower curtain. had to move towels and toilet paper out of the room before every shower. Ended up buying one myself.
-mold and mildew in bathroom made me lightheaded
-smoking area just outside apt, people would stand in front of my cracked window and smoke at 4am. Expect to wake up to the smell of smoke
-iron had melted fabric on it that transferred green fabric goo to my shirt when I tried to use it. Ruined my shirt.
-desks and end tables are chipped and in rough condition
- they said they couldn’t enter my apt while I was gone which is why they weren’t cleaning or re-upping supplies, but then they did it twice at the end of my trip. So why did I have to buy my own toilet paper for the first week?
-randomly usually once per day the whole apartment smells horribly of feces. I think there’s a pipe issue somewhere.

I don't recommend staying at this location. While i have to say the place was clean, the room didn't have air conditioning and not even a fan. I felt I was sleeping in a sauna and you can spend more than 20 minutes in the room during the day. The heat is unbearable. In addition, the room did not have curtains to make things worse. So zero privacy, all lights are pointing at your face while you are tying to sleep in a room that is 100 degrees hot inside.

Good Kitchen lacked utensils. No shower curtain water went on the floor. Sink didn’t drain well. Cleanliness was poor gum on bathroom door. Front door didn’t lock on building. Smoke detector had no battery. TV didn’t work. Toilet seat was loose.
Location was good. Wouldn’t take much to improve the facility.

The “hotel” was terrible. When we got into the hotel there was water all over the floor. Afterwards the next morning, the ceiling was leaking all over the floor in front of the bathroom door. You can hear everyone coming in and out of the hotel as the door slams really loudly. There is a cigarette smell that comes from leaving your window open but if you close it there is no fan, ac, or ventilation in the room.

It’s the wort place for holidays no fan no iron no cleaning and no communication. At the time of booking we mentioned that we need twin beds but when we reached they give us. Double bed and when i said that I mentioned i need twin after 1 day they replied that they don’t have

This place was horrible: dirty and in poor condition. Cabinet door was broken, shower rod had duck tape on it, bathroom fixtures were attached to the wall with half the amount of screws so were barely hanging on and unusable, my bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, the heat was on in 95° weather and there was no fan, there were stains on the walls, the door to the building was unsecured, and the entryway and stairwells were filthy. It was not at all as it appeared in the Expedia pictures when we booked it and management never replied to my email. Avoid.

To summarise my reasoning and experience - this is why I believe that a full refund is necessary :-
* Room was not available on arrival (email indicated that it was)
* Room had not been cleaned (and probably wouldn’t have in time unless we had arrived at 12:30pm and made contact re the missing key).
* Cleaner took well over an hour to get this tiny single room clean.
* Room looks (and is) absolutely nothing like the photos represented on Wotif - room is not an apartment, it is a single small room with a small bathroom attached.
* Issues with room:-
- it is filthy and potentially dangerous - there are obvious signs of toxic mold throughout the room and especially in the bathroom and around the kitchenette
- The shower door is broken and hanging off - being glass this is serious
- The toilet seat is hanging off, moves from side to side
- There is a “decorative” piece of wood that is hanging off the wall and has nails exposed
- There are external lights that cannot be turned off that light up the entire room all night
- it is extremely dated
And there were several attempts by people (or one person) to gain access into the room whilst we were in it (before I even made the complaint)
