Great place to stay! Room is clean and the entire place is peacefully quiet. Beach is great even though hindi sya sand, water is clear, we loved it. We stayed with a 1y/o kid, she really enjoyed the playground and the animals/birds. All our needs are catered, thanks to all the staff. Aaaand we loved LaMenza's pizzas. We're deffinately coming back!

the place is so relaxing. it's just that the beach is not swimmable. every corner is instagrammable thou. food is good. cr when wet is slippery.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Cala Laiya. We love the food served during breakfast and our dinner that we ordered at their Buglas Isla restaurant (Filipino dishes, especially the bicol express), the four cheese pasta is good too. The staffs are friendly and accommodating to our needs as well. The only downside is that you can only swim at the beach in early morning until 2pm because it’s low tide after that; good thing they also have 2 pool areas and the resort doesn’t feel crowded. We might consider to book again in this resort for another time.

Our family enjoyed our 3d2N stay at Cala Laiya. The staffs are accommodating to our needs especially the restaurant staffs at Buglas Isla. The atmosphere is enjoyable since the resort is not too crowded and they offer other activities like speed boat/banca ride, archery lesson, and nature trail walks (there should be a staff to guide guests who wants to explore the trail though). If you don’t mind the low tide after 2-3pm, the location is good. The pool area can compensate to that low tide situation. We also love the Filipino cuisine served at Buglas Isla restaurant and the variety of dishes during breakfast. Overall, it’s one of the good experiences and stay in Laiya, Batangas.

Spacious and have 3 pools but we haven’t tried their beach because its too sunny in the afternoon and low tide before evening. All staff is accomodating and their beach resort is clean.

Getting to Cala Laiya was a bit difficult due to the unpaved roads once you get off the highway. Buuut once there, the vibe of the place is really peaceful. Had lots of trees which provided shade so walking around during daytime, specially at noon, was a breeze. Complimentary buffet breakfast was good though not a lot of options, but that’s okay. Restos inside the vicinity are reasonably priced. The room we stayed in had a queen-sized bed with soft pillows and beddings. Mini ref was working and minibar was just there. Bathroom was spacious and clean with ample natural lighting during daytime.
All in all, we had a nice stay! Will definitely come back and also recommend Cala Laiya to my family and friends planning to go visit.
