great for a budget stay if you don’t care too much. staff was shouting with a customer one night so we had to wait to get our key since they have a leave the key policy. too many smoking areas made available. 7/11 right beside the lobby. school in front so extra safe. 10 min walk to popular night market. water bottles limited to one per day and no water refilling station. maybe it was the language barrier but front desk staff seemed to care too little about the guest experience.

overall experience was “you get what you pay for” but in a neutral way. Pros include: great area, safe, right beside a 7/11, taxi drivers found it easily. Cons: No water refilling stations and limited water bottles per day with no considerations, toilet had a smell that didn’t go away even after cleaning, towels seemed abused, room for two only had 1 chair for dining, room phone didn’t initially work. All in all, pros and cons balanced each other out for the price we paid.
