The hotel staff was amazing but the WiFi was really terrible. I stayed at this hotel twice this month. WiFi was terrible. The windows do not open and the AC does not cool the rooms. The staff brought a fan but it was cooler outside than inside the hotel. The rooms are nice, television service adequate and the location is fantastic. But the AC and WiFi are terrible. Be sure before you book if either are important to your stay.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Overall, I had a great experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool. I booked this hotel specifically because it was attached to the spa, and it was exactly what I needed after traveling. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a large bathroom, great water pressure, and a beautiful view of what I believe was the clock tower. The air conditioning could have been stronger, but it was sufficient. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and the warm welcome cookie was very appreciated after a long train journey. The spa was the highlight of my stay. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, and immediately made me feel relaxed and taken care of. I did not book treatments, but I purchased a day pass and spent about three hours there. The pool is large and a refreshing temperature, with plenty of lounge chairs. The hot tub is excellent, with strong jets and even a place to lie down and enjoy the massage jets. The steam room and sauna were also great. Everything felt clean, safe, and well maintained. One note: the darker, atmospheric photos with wood and leather-tufted couches seem to show a specific part of the property, such as the bar or library. The hotel and rooms themselves have more of a clean, contemporary Hilton feel. Great location, close to the historic part of Liverpool and walkable from the train station. I would definitely recommend it and happily stay again.

Excellent hotel, but the spa is extra. They don't hide this, but it is easy to miss.

Whilst there was plenty of choice on the cooked breakfast. It was at best lukewarm and as a consequence the bacon was hard. Not a great fan of hot food that isn’t hot. Ate in the restaurant one night and the food and service was excellent.

Great hotel and location but pool/spa didn’t open until 10am and was closed at 6pm when we arrived so we couldn’t use which was a shame.

Fantastic
This is an amazing hotel, lookss very posh with intricate detail. It has a large lobby area There is a lift that goes up to all 5 floors, however there are more rooms in seprate ofshot areas from the main staircase. my room was in one of these ofshot areas, there are only two room per area. The room was very big with a queen sized bed, accessable bathroom with walk in shower. There is a squae wash basin with individual shorage compartment for towles underneath the sink. this room has lotss of space, inc a sofa a huge TV area, plus a long rectangler window with both net and black-out curtains. A buffet style breakfast in ssrvedd in their own bar andd Grill area. It is a mix of cooked and contenental breakfast, as well as cereal. Breakfast is quite expensive, howeveer a reduced rate is offered upon arrival. However unless you have more then one plate with a mix of contenental and cooked, it is not worth it. There is a spa and wellness retreat attached to this hotel, unfortunatly i did not o here, however if more information was provided to guests - like an information lifelet in the rooms and reception i would have definatly gone here. Customer service was polite and friendly, but not exceptional. There is a wired phone in all rooms for room service and customer service. However i did not use this. DoubleTree is locateed outside of Liverpool City centre, which is only 2 mins walk away. The train station in a 5 mins walk away from hotel. I would definatly recomend thi
