The property is little bit older, but clean and spacious, staff friendly, location is next to the train station, convenient for everything, dinning, shopping and transporation.

A cozy homey ryokan just 3-minute walk from the Gero train station, the location is excellent. The meals were delicious and the service was impeccable. The room, however, was a little dated. The insulation wasn’t good so it could be a little chilly at night when it was snowing outside. The outdoor onsen was enjoyable. I will definitely come back next time I visit Gero.

This hotel is good for first time in Gero, but I would like to comeback to Gero and stay at another to compare.

We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. The kaiseki was delicious, onsen was relaxing but what made our stay special is the staff who welcomed us. Definitely, worth the stay.

Enjoyable & comfortable stay at this small Ryokan hotel next to Gero station. Very convenient for visiting other tourist sites near Gero & Takayama. My second stay at this hotel. Good price & friendly service. As a small hotel, onsen is still not so crowded if one choose the non peak time for a soak. Gero has good alkaline onsen water with its silky feel... The town is large enough for enough activities, like shopping, sight seeing, walking, dining options, etc. a good place to experience Japan.. Highly recommended for visitors to Gero, & value for money..

The room is big and clean. Dinner and breakfast is excellent. Hot spring is clean and beautiful. Since the hotel have limited guests, I can enjoy the hot spring all by myself in most of the time. The staff are very kind and polite. Very near to the train station. They gave me a coupon which you can get a 10% discount at their souvenir shop. It offers a 5 stars room, food and service.

Good hotel to stay. Near to JR station. Staff are friendly and polite. Superb breakfast and dinner which we enjoyed the most. Outdoor onsen is not big but you can enjoy it alone most of the time because the hotel has limited rooms and it means less crowded. Will recommend to friend.
