GreatSolo stay
Convenient to trains and shopping. My room had a bit of a locker room smell, though.

Good Most staff was friendly. However, there was no AC only heat. Thus our room was very hot. There was some mold in the corner of the bath tub. The location is decent.

Below averageStayed with partner
Staff: do not speak English! Strick rule: check-in 3PM. Small 2 twin bedroom, hard as rocks pillows, hotel faces a highway that has a lot of traffic noise! No complimentary 2 bottles of water in room. Only plus: near train station.

GoodSolo stay · For leisure
This property is just a few minutes walk from the Okayama train station. The sign on the building is in Japanese only, so you're out of luck if you don't read Japanese. Right behind the hotel is a very lively area with tons of people milling about - bars, karaoke, restaurants, Japanese style hostess clubs, etc. Not a place for young kids. The room itself was clean and good wifi. I think it's a good value.
