The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location. The rooms are decorated like my Grandma’s bedroom was 20 years ago and thin curtains. Bulbs in the bathroom not working and the mattresses have no padding. And that was the improved room they moved me into because the basement room was so disgusting. Avoid this hotel.

Good place in a great area. It was ok for the price. But:
The wifi did not reach my room which was annoying, called reception and they were not helpful at all.
They charge £10 for luggage storage after you check out! For that reason am not coming back here, had never seen this anywhere else.

Great Always a good stay at the Lancaster Court. Very helpful and friendly staff. Close to everything including Paddington Station, Hyde Park and food choices galore.

The location is very convenient. Super close to Paddington Station.
The decor is a bit tired and amenities are basic, which was fine, it was pretty cheap for a place in London - we only need it to sleep in.
But the mattress was terrible, the pillows were thin and limited to one each. And the curtains did nothing to stop the early morning light in. So, even that basic function was lost.
It was surprisingly quiet, quite clean and the staff were nice.

Good Mold smell as soon as you arrive, old building, no elevator, no A/C

Great location and good sized room for what I paid. Some marks on the carpet but overall the room was clean and the staff were super helpful.

Great location and nice staff; rooms not as nice as photos and no air conditioning. For one night it was okay but can’t recommend for a longer stay. Rooms are quite small overall.

Good There was an awful strain on my floor when i arrived, bashed walls and what looked like make up on the walls as well. The staff were very lovely and i slept. All be it a little difficultly, just due to other hotel customers banging doors and coming home very early hours.
I didn't like the hold of deposit of £100 as well as a copy made of my ID... I've never had that anywhere I've stayed this was five when i arrived, I also didn't like having to hand in my key each time I wanted to leave. It made me feel like I didn't want to leave and go as much as I please.
I don't think I will stay here again but it wasn't the worst hotel I've ever been too. They were very understanding. It was convenient at the time..
