Fantastic

THE KAZAHAYA Suite · 2 Adults · 3 Nights

We enjoyed our stay here for our 3 day trip to Kyoto. We had one of the suites so we could try futons but still have the option of a western bed in case we didn't like it. We ended up sleeping on the futons all three nights! Hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood, surrounded mostly by residential houses. The walls are thin since it is an old traditional building, but all the guests when we were there were respectful-- we never heard anyone else while in the building. Room was very clean and well kept. My only regret is not having our luggage forwarded from Tokyo. The train station is a short walk, but the small side streets (no actual sidewalks) you have to take to get to the hotel are no joke even with just one large suitcase and one carry one suitcase.
