Stayed with friends

The room wasn’t cleaned at all during my 3 nights stay; .the hotel prides hitself on non-waste with unnecessary daily cleaning which is fine and defers to you. We arrived late on the first night so didn’t feel it was necessary to clean the next morning! However On day 2 I did fill the form through the QR code and asked to be cleaned. When we came back late night nothing happened , obvs we left the next morning on day 3 so was too late. I asked the staff and they had no requests .and I got a cold “sorry” upon check out. well my request definitely said sent! I read some other reviews about the same . Seems they either have a problem with this system or conveniently these request disappear … shame cos the rooms are Comfortable. Didn’t have breakfast as it was expensive… location is ok.. 5 minutes walk to the underground and 5 stops to centraal in a what looks like a new area … not much around.!

Arrived to find out that the hotel was not air conditioned, as we expected it to be. High temps expected in the 80s-90s F (30s C)! 😳 But the room had a portable fan and all was FINE! Room was very comfortable, including bed, amenities, shower, etc. Helpful & friendly staff (esp. Boaz & Jesse). Convenient, safe 4-5 block walk to/from Amstel metro station. Would stay there again in a heartbeat…

The hotel is lovely and clean, really friendly staff that are always happy to help and pint you in the right direction if you need anything . Very easy to get into Amsterdam centraal from here and close to train station

The room was a bit minimalist, but very serviceable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was only a few blocks from the subway, which you can hop on to get to Central station rather quickly.
