The location was great. Very close to Byward Market area and the Rideau Canal and the CF Rideau shopping center. Great restaurants nearby, When we arrived at the hotel in an UBER there were two employees standing at the front door with luggage carts. Neither of them came to the car to help my wife or me with our luggage. It was only about 25 feet but it was on an uphill incline. I thought, they should have helped us. All they did was hold the door open. The TV went out our second night there so no programming that evening. Lastly, the internet was very poor. Granted we were on the 6th floor but we thought we were at a first class hotel so we were surprised that there were these issues, I would like to compliment the room attendants. They were wonderful and very attentive, Meng, was the lady who looked after our room. She was a darling, always willing to help. And the gentlemen who brought a steamer to our room. He was also very kind and thoughtful. Despite the inconveniences, we enjoyed our first ever visit to Ottawa.
