Solo stay

It was an awesome stay. It has a beautiful atmosphere and view of the Nile River and you’ll be able to sail the Nile River as I did. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place

The room was very nice and the pool on the Nile was great! Super friendly staff. The only unfortunate thing is that the "City view" room was extremely loud, don't choose it! Luckily they let me change to a inner Courtyard room for no price difference. Also our air conditioner didn't work properly, maintenance had to come in to do a bunch of work to make it work. But great hotel in general, nice shops at the entry also.

Solo stay

When I arrived at the Iberotel, I did not like much what I experienced. My room was smaller than I thought it would be, with no desk to do some work. To get to the room, I had to go through a hallway with a strong smell of cigarette smoking. In addition, the room and the hotel looking dated. After staying there one night, my opinion changed once I got to experience more of the hotel. The hotel is well-located, near many restaurants. The breakfast spread was very good. I had a comfortable sleep and the smell of smoke in the hallway was gone for the remaining of my stay. The staff was genuinely helpful when I needed a place to work in the middle of the night that could maintain a good internet connection (Internet was solid in the room but I needed it to be flawless). Plus, the pool and garden areas are amazing. Swimming in the pool to the side of the Nile is just cool. So, I would go back here again and recommend to my friends.

We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are rather dated but very clean. Excellent shower pressure and hot water! However the bathroom was a bit cramped. Definitely get a river view room if you can because the street view is not much to speak of. Our balcony door would not lock but we were on a higher floor and there is an in room safe so we didn’t feel worried about our things. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great with many options to choose from. The gardens are extremely well kept and quite beautiful. The Sultana restaurant has a limited menu but the food was fabulous so we ate dinner there twice. There are many local and international restaurants within walking distance if you want something different. The best thing about this place is the location with close proximity to Luxor Temple—only an 8 to 10 minute walk. Karnak is also within walking distance if you want a longer hike (30 to 45 minutes) along the Nile but you will get harrassed by every boat captain and carriage driver along the way since they really need the business . In midday or late afternoon consider a carriage ride— the heat becomes oppressive. Avoid doing laundry here if you can. It’s very expensive at this hotel and we got much better prices at other places. Overall we had a nice stay.

Fantastic
Everything was smooth and easy, from check-in to check-out. A special mention to Marina, who did an incredible job accommodating us throughout our stay. She was attentive, helpful, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of quickly and without hassle. That level of service really stood out and made the experience feel personal. Overall, a solid place to stay and I’d definitely come back!

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, security was very helpful. Food around the area for me was a challenge to find, so I was stuck with the hotel food which to me was a 2.5/5.
