Beautiful lobby, attentive staff, excellent customer service. Room was spacious and clean. Indoor pool required all guest, female and male to wear a swim cap. Only down side was that I could smell cigarette smoke on two nights but not noticeable any other days/times. Location was not as convenient to subway, although hotel sits between to stations.

Solo stay

Disappointing stay - coming from the Shilla, and Josun Palace, this is roughly a 3 star experience. The hotel is dated and maintained a “musty” smell. The AC in my room did not work, and leaked water all night - incredibly humid on other floors other than the lobby. Every once in a while I got a smell of what seemed to be “smoke”. The check in gal told me she would upgrade me to a single bed, but I was later told only twins are available. The breakfast was also mediocre - you can tell they do not use high quality ingredients. The pastries were tough and dry. I also booked so I could relax in the sauna and it was closed for renovation. Do not recommend

We show up at 3PM for check in and the room wasn't ready. The staff mentioned they're doing the final preparations! We tried again at 3:30 and the same answer was given. This time the staff said they're doing final touch! Just pathetic. At 4PM we find out the room wasn't ever ready. The room had a sink problem. They moved us to an inferior room. No apologies or refund for the different room. We will never be there again even if it is free

Stayed with kids

The Hotel was amazing , we enjoyed the decor and furniture and cute antique china ! However the breakfast buffet and dinner buffets were super expensive. Also the a/c in our room did not work well, it was 28-29 at night in the room , finally on the last night of our 10 nights stay we asked if they can give us another room just to sleep , they gave us the room but unfortunately it was only one large bed, me and our 8 years old daughter went to sleep there while my husband remained in our old room and suffered , they gave us a portable a/c that was smelly . They complimented us for one last breakfast, it was nice. Location of the Hotel was not great, we had to take metro everywhere we went . Also the outdoor pool was closed till June 19th they said , but on June 19th they told us they will open it in July . We stayed there June 10-20th. That was very disappointing, they have to maintain the pool anyway - why not to let guests to swim there , it should be up to the guests to use the pool or not .
