The hotel is nice posada, room is big, stuff super nice. However, in our room bathroom is in need of urgent renovation - it was difficult to take shower as shower is clogged up and showerhead needs replacement , toilet was pretty demaged and stained and there was mold around sink. The cleaniness of the bathroom was poor. Also, there is TV but there is no programing. sink.replacing.rerion.

Solo stay

Postales by DOT is a gem tucked right in the middle of the vineyards. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, exactly the kind of place you want to land after a day of wine tasting. The pool is not heated and it isn’t very deep, but it’s perfect for cooling off. There are plenty of reclining chairs that you can move around the deck or even into the vineyard area, so you can relax with a great view. The lodging was comfortable and clean. Great showers with good pressure, plenty of towels, and the bed was very comfortable. During my three nights there, the atmosphere felt friendly and laid back. Guests often sit outside their rooms, and I ended up meeting a few people who became friends during my stay. They offer two or three course dinners every night to pay. The food was good, and breakfast is included as well. Staff are very kind and service-oriented. You can enjoy wine throughout the day or at dinner, and you only pay if you decide to buy a bottle to take with you. The property is private and secluded. When you drive in, you have a gate and a clicker for access, and the whole place feels secure. I had a really relaxing and memorable stay here. Great choice if you want nature, quiet, and good wine at your doorstep.

Fantastic
The small hotel is in a pretty county setting, down a long tree-lined entry road off a country road close to Tunuyan. It is right next to their own vineyard. The rooms are divided amongst three small one-story buildings. It is relaxed rustic elegance, with rooms with high beamed ceilings. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and will help to arrange outings, and if you need it, taxis. The food is excellent and the restaurant has an extensive selection of Argentine wines, including their own. Although they do not normally have lunch, since most guests have lunch on their outings, the staff prepared a simple lunch for us the one day we rested at the hotel.

Fantastic
It is a beautiful area surrounded by vineyards. Unfortunately there is nothing else and you cannot go anywhere without a car. But if you want to calm down it's the perfect place to be! They have a very good cook and very nice vines...

The hotel is well located; their value proposition is simple yet attractive: a small vineyard overlooking the Andes. On a personal level, hotel staff is nice, polite and well-intended --they go out of their way to try to please visitors. However, they are overwhelmed and under-trained. Example: the same young lady in charge of check-ins and check-outs, waits tables during breakfast and lunch, cleans the pool, waters the garden and arranges for tourist activities. The result: if you need anything, you'd better arm yourself with patience. The owners seemed to have forgotten that the "boutique hotel" concept is not only about charging high prices but also offering excellent good service. At Postales, you pay top dollars but get sub-par service. You will be much better off at any of the other boutique hotels in the area.

Great
Our stay at this lovely resort was amazing. From the welcoming staff to the view of the Andes we couldn't have been happier. Although the lodge is outside of Mendoza our time here went very quickly. Our hostess arranged for a wine tour and a road trip to the Andes with private drivers. We were also treated to a private cooking class by the chef. This was a highlight of our visit as we prepared some Argentinian cuisine. My husband and I were very impressed with the dinners. The excellent food combined with the staff made for a memorable stay.
