Great Really nicely located. Almost perfectly. Walk to rsc and his home. River right there. Restaurants have good food but manned by young people who are a little clueless at times. But all are nice. Room was big and ac was solid. Construction was going on and it was in the way with no syncing between crew and staff of both. Biggest complaint- the king bed was horrible. The worst of our ten day trip in the uk. Huge dip when they push the two twins together. Needs a huge upgrade. We will stay again. Hope they keep improving too.

Great Nice quiet room. comforrable and clean. Near to the centre for sightseeing. Could have just done with some shekves or drawers and more hooks in the bathroom for wet towels.

Fantastic The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting the Royal Shakespeare theatre, or wanting to visit Stratford upon Avon. Located just by the river, it is walking distance to the town and it is a beautiful walk.
The staff are brilliant and even when there was a small issue with our room, it was sorted out immediately.
We've stayed here multiple times for the theatre and will stay again.

Below average Property decoration is poor throughout with worn furniture in the lobby and bar. Appreciate that parts of the building are old but the general appearance was that of a one or two star hotel. Web site even claims facilities that are no longer available, i.e. swimming pool at sister hotel when the association with the other hotel no longer exists. Very expensive when you consider the local Travelodge offers tidier and cleaner accommodation. Would never consider going there again, definitely one to be avoided.

Great Great hotel great location everything in walking distance.
Staff very friendly and helpful couldn't fault them at all!
Biggest disappointment was there was no lift, I had a a 16month old and had to carry buggy up stairs to second floor. When I booked I wasn't made aware there was no lift. I managed, many of the staff offered many times to help carry buggy upstairs for us. I recommend this hotel.

Below average First impressions count. The main foyer area is dark and tired looking, nothing like the vibrant promotional pictures used to market the property (including on the email for this review). Carpets look worn and shabby. The room was clean but very basic - it looked old by modern standards (but not in a quaint/historic way). There is a lot of building work going on which you have to pass by to get to the main entrance - which doesn't create a great impression as you arrive. You have to walk around the building from the car park to reach the main entrance as the normal route is unavailable due to the ongoing works. The car park is very hit and miss. It's basically a pay and display car park on site with hotel guests given a discounted rate. Whilst you might be lucky and get a space on arrival, there is no guarantee of a space if you drive away from the hotel and return (although there are public car parks close by). Breakfast is served in the Bistrot. Cooked food was fine but beverages are served from a machine (which didn't work particularly well) and there was limited alternatives to the traditional English breakfast (no fresh fruit, a few pastries and granola). Location is good as it's right by the river and a short walk to the main shopping, theatre and tourist centres. The rooms had air conditioning which was nice given the very hot weather. Despite the central location it was relatively quiet at night.
