Great

Solo stay

Some Cuyabeno lodges offer direct pickup/dropoff from this hotel, in that scenario it makes perfect sense. There are some bad reviews, but it's not that bad and somewhat cheap. Inner area with small garden is very cute. Surrounding area is ok, restaurants around. are cute. Of course it is Quito, so caution is necessary. Staff is 50/50 cause it rotates a lot. Girls were super-helpful and turned on world cup in the common area for me, but dude with blue hair is straight up horrible. He just disappeared and I had to wait for 10min (not exaggeration) for him to let me out of property (with uber outside waiting for me). So receptionist who is god-knows where is not a good receptionist.

Solo stay

I enjoyed my stay at Blue House, it has great location and all the basic services you need. Great place for the price. It can get a little noisy at night, but with some earplugs you’re ok.

Fantastic

Stayed with family · For friends and family

The people that work on the property are more than excellent and always willing to accommodate you. The whole place is family friendly as well. The rooms are immaculate and peaceful. The neighborhood is very nice and also quiet. We cannot wait to stay there again.

Great staff, good food, comfortable rooms, a bit run-down, like the whole area of La Mariscal. However, it is lively and safe outside in the night. Hopefully the whole area of the Mariscal is coming back.
