When you walk into the courtyard at the Palazzo you know you are somewhere special.
Arianna is very welcoming and speaks very good English. The La Vista room we chose was simply amazing. Six big windows letting the light stream in and giving us fantastic views out over the Lake. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished and was spotlessly clean. The Palazzo has a lot of history and this is explained in the very useful information book in the room. The hotel has a private deck area right on the banks of the Lake. Sun loungers, brollies, hot tub and fridge with refreshments. What a place to sunbathe and watch the boats go by.
Breakfast was a lovely buffet that could be taken in the dining room or outside in the courtyard.
There are a couple of very nice restaurants within walking distance for evening meals.
The ferry to Bellagio is a fifteen minute walk from the hotel. Bellagio is worth a visit but we couldn’t wait to get back to the peace and tranquility at the Palazzo.
Our two nights at the Palazzo was the highlight of our Italian Lake trip.
Many thanks to Arianna for making us so welcome.

We were taken back by the beautiful and unique Italian suit with very tall ceilings, large windows on three sides, plenty of space to move around, and a view of Lake Como we had not seen expected. You could spend your stay in the suite and be happy.
Ariana is very attentive and accommodated our dietary needs for breakfast. We had a nice stay.

The hotel is a little out of the way but our room La Vista was beautiful. Parking is not actually at the hotel just a few metres north of the hotel. There’s a sign on the road saying ‘21’ and the driveway is immediately north of that. Go down and take the first right and park anywhere. Once you have someone show you how to get to reception, it’s easy. We decided the best way to see the lake was by driving to Bellagio and paying for parking for the day then using the boats to look at each village. We had a great time.

Lovely, charming, quiet. Our room was beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner a short walk down the path that runs just below the Palazzo leading back up to the street to the nearby Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria Helvetia. We watched the sun set on Lake Como, sitting on the private beach owned by the Palazzo and reading until the light was too dim, then looking at the lovely lights around the lake. Breakfast in the courtyard with a custom omelet and variety of selections, all with wonderful service by the family.
