Nepal is one of the best places in the world to go trekking, and this route is a great place to start for those unused to heavy hiking, preferring a leisurely walking journey. Begin your day early and drive up to Nagarkot, famed for its sunrise views. Take in the spectacular Himalayan range and glimpse the majestic Annapurna mountain range to the west and Everest to the east. After breakfast, you'll be led on a scenic trek down to the Nerawi town of Dhulikhel, passing through farming terraces, picturesque rural villages and stunning panoramic views.
Driver and guide came to pick up on time, we arrived a little early and waited at the car until time of sun rose to keep warm. Unfortunately it was cloudy in the morning and we were unable to see the sunrise. Breakfast was lovely and the walk was nice. the hike took more or less 3 hours. Good activity to do and escaping to the nature from the busy street of Kathmandu
The tour was excellent. The tour guide, he is professional and extremly friendly.
The view from the Nagarkot peak is good. We had breakfast in a good restaurant with manifique view in town.
We hiked through the local village and people there are so friendly.
My wife and I are so satisfied with this tour.
It was one of the greatest experience to be at Nagarkot. Even though the sun did not shine above the Himalaya, I could still see the icecap on the top of the range. Fortunately, I was the only person in the group of the tour, so it was as if I had a private guide. Surendra was an excellent guide: he explained tons of local knowledge, he did not make you feel bored during the walks, and he also took photos of you every spot you wanted to stop by. The breakfast was quite tasty as well (I love fried potato so much!). Overall, this tour is worth the price and I highly recommend this program for solo travelers.
Efficient response from the company. Patient and answered all queries before departure. Responsible owner and tour guide. They are attentive, my needs were met and I was well taken care of. My guide Suresh was patient, helpful, encouraging and supportive during the trek which was important when morale was low. I told him that I preferred less crowded guesthouse and he was able to accommodate, as rest was important at such rough terrains. Overall, it was a memorable adventure for me. I am confident to recommend their service.
Good service by a local tour and guide. Pick up at the hotel on time to catch sunrise at the hill. Although breakfast at the hotel was not so good, Himalayan range view super stunning from there. After that we went trekking we were told that the distance is around 5 km. but it is actually 9 km. from my GPS tracking watch. By the way overall is brilliant!!! This is recommended.
The view from Nagarkot was surreal. The sunrise was awesome as well. Thats a must-see!
No restrooms at the viewing deck area, fyi.
And then we went to a hotel to eat breakfast. The view there was great as well, food was ok.
Trek - the first part was exciting, youll see the local villages and meet the people. The last part of the trek is just a dusty road.
But overall I would recommend going to Nagarkot, especially if you do not plan to do long treks in Nepal. Lastly, Klook fee does not include entrance fees - 640NPR in total.
