Have a great time exploring Penang, even if you only have four hours. After a convenient hotel pick up, you will get to see a number of key attractions in the city. The tour starts off with a visit to the Kek Lok Si Temple where you can marvel at the 7 Tier Pagoda of the 10,000 Buddhas. In addition to this, you will see the 30.2 meter bronze statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. This compact tour also takes you to new heights – literally – because you will get to rise 833 metres above sea level aboard the funicular train ride to the top of Penang Hill. By the end of the tour, you'll have ticked off many of Penang's key sights.
The vibrant dynamic region of Penang comes with lots to offer – and its capital Georgetown is one of the main destinations. The entire city is UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a mecca of ancient monuments, historical landmarks and museums. Led by your English speaking and informative guide, you'll visit Khoo Kongsi, a Chinese clanhouse with stunning architecture and - Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple. Don't miss one of the oldest clan temples in town – the Cheah Kongsi. The Pinang Peranakan Mansion, a must see for every traveler visiting Penang, is a rich museum that showcases the traditions and culture of a Peranakan family including a recreated home of a wealthy resident to give you a glimpse into the past life of the rich and powerful
Georgetown Heritage visited the site of old Chinese buildings that are still well preserved, such as the Peranakan Mansion, is a Chinese house that is over 100 years old, very nice in which there are Chinese objects whose collection is very complete of Chinese clothes, paintings and furniture to eat etc., I like to be able to study the history and culture of Chinese power.
Although it was supposedly a group tour, there were only 2 of us who were in it! The provider went with it, as usual, and gave us our own private tour of Georgetown. He was very informative, courteous, and also entertaining. He gave us enough time to enjoy the venue by ourselves, after giving us interesting information about the places we visited. I recommend this tour!
