With only 36 hours in Phnom Penh on my travels north to Siem Reap I chose the tour that seemed to have the most places to visit in one day. Boy oh Boy did I get it right!! this full day tour was credible. It started right on time with a pick up from my hotel by my friendly guide Mr Rithyboth and driver Mr Sokry. I was lucky enough to be the only one on the tour so the entire day went extremely smoothly. We visited every attraction that would be expected while in Phnom Penh and was given an extremely detailed insight into the history and events that has shaped this beautiful city as we see it today. Mr Rithyboth the tour guide was extremely passionate about his city and a keen historian so the insight provided was not only detailed but also personalised from time to time with stories that had been handed down from his parents and grandparents from the Khmer Rouge times.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to be able to see a lot of the city and only has limited time to do so. Also if you’re looking for a detailed tour guide that can really explain the depths of Cambodia’s rich history, connections to Vietnam, Thailand as well a detailed approach to the Khmer Rouge Empire.
I’d like to thank my guide Mr Rithyboth and driver Mr Sokry for their hospitality provided and what was an incredible day in this very special place,
Thank you 🙏
Our join-in tour became a private tour which is quite good for us. We had visited S21 the day before (did not realise we were going to the same place when we booked) so we were able to make some changes to the places to visit. Roth, our tour guide was also very accommodating with us and gave us some suggestions on places to visit.
Superb! The guide arrived earlier than the schedule. He really humble and patient to every one of my question, he calmly explain even the slightest detail. Not to mention the driver really good and we not waiting to long. Every itienary is good. And the lunch? Super buffet!! You won't regret this tour.
