What people are saying about Theme Parks in Bangkok
Booking with Klook made things so much easier. We did not have to wait in the line ti purchase tickets, we were able to go to the information center and quickly pick up our tickets from the lady. Fortunately, the day we went not a lot of people were at the park, so we did not have to wait to get on any rides! Definitely worth the price when looking for some things to do around Bangkok.
It is definitely worth the price with admission ticket + buffet lunch. It is a very fun place to visit in Bangkok. Klook offers the best price of all and its much more convenient to book the tickets in advance before departure. Klook have very good customer service as well, they helped me to change my visit date upon my last minute request with no hipcups.
We went to Dream World for my niece's sixth birthday and she was very, very pleased with the place! The food and merchandise were very reasonably priced (some items are even cheaper than the ones in Bangkok's famous markets). Snow Town was really good. We shared the park with 400 or so students who were on their class trip, but the park still did not feel crowded or packed.
As for Dream World's Water Park, maybe 120 Baht is too stiff a price for some visitors because not a lot of people were there even though it was so hot at the park. Speaking of the heat, we really appreciated the electric fans with water mist scattered all around the park so we were able to somehow beat the heat of Thailand.
Our only downside was that the 4D Theatre was closed during the time of out visit, and that there were no character parades during the weekday.
A great place for kids. Lots of place to take photos.
It's pity the park only open from 10am to 5pm on weekday.
But it took almost an hour from Bangkok to the park due to traffic.
And we spent anther 30 mins waiting to claim our physical ticket (very long queue)
And there very few taxi waiting outside the park when we were leaving. And We couldn't even find a car with "Grab".
Luckily we found a honest taxi driver who took us back to Bangkok by meter (with a very small surcharge).
It's recommended to book your own private car to take you to and back from the park.
it is a nice amusement park on the outskirt of Bangkok.
we went on a weekday; literally not much waiting queue for each ride other than the cable cars.
it has lots of cooling fans.
the Action Hero show is not to be missed; the 4D show is good.
the buffet is okay (there is KFC inside)
there is van transport available to go to Victory Momument at its closing at 5pm
The dream world is a memorable trip for my family. Although not on the same standard as Tokyo Disneyland, it’s definitely very good based on the price paid. The theme park have a lot of rides for all children ages. There are also affordable carnival games at 50 baht each. The food prices are quite reasonable and affordable. My family will definitely visit again. The only con about this trip is transport which is quite far away from Bangkok center which is roughly 45 mins if there is no traffic jam. It is advisable to take Grab which cost average 400 baht per single trip excluding toll fees.
