evrything is hassle free...the Klook Surabaya agent Mr Tori pick us up at our hotel lobby on time as planned but actually he came ahead of time. evrythin was in order and smooth. we reached Bromo as planned and Mr Tori brought us to a gd spot for the sunrise as well as other gd spot for photography eg. Teletubbies hill...great experienced with Klook. Mt Bromo sunrise tour was my 2nd with Klook.
Klook Spore team too has done great job as in updating us via WatsAp the itinerary for Mt Bromo Sunrise Tour and informing us eg. who will liaise with us in Surabaya n included his contact no.
The experienced was spectacular. Kudos Klook!
Our tour guide was very friendly, and arrived relatively on time for the tour, given that we are catching the sun rise and have to leave the hotel at 12am. He shared with us the story of mount bromo, and when we reached there, he took care of our well-being and safety. Will recommend others to go for this tour! the sights are scenic and breath taking.
My husband and I had a very satisfying trip to Mt. Bromo from Malang on 16th Feb, with neatly arranged activities by the Klook merchant. Our tour guide, Ziha, was amiable, funny and helpful. The landscape on the way to the crater was magnificent and absolutely worth the energy exercised. My own recommendations are that: 1/there was the popular spot to watch the sunrise but it was quite crowded at the weekends, therefore to enjoy the sunrise it's better to find a less crowded spot (your guide will help you find a decent spot) and 2/to the crater, I don't recommend horse-riding. It's kinda expensive, and it's not that far as your guide might warn you, and the horses look tired anyway. And if you're going with friends you're gonna love walking beside each other, enjoying the dreamy scenery. The walk to the crater takes only about 90 mins for round way (we got lucky because the previous night rain made the sand more solid and less dusty and therefore easier to walk). Everything else was just perfect.
What an awesome tour! We were picked up on time after being contacted by the driver the night before to confirm pick up time and location. The car was air conditioned and comfortable, with a tour guide and driver to take us on our way. We changed over to the Land Cruiser after about an hour of driving and started up the mountain. The driver was very professional and we felt very safe at all times, even though we are driving up a pretty serious mountain. Our guide took us to a little hut once we reached the summit to stay warm and have a coffee or tea and a snack of fried bananas, while we sat around a small fire to stay warm. When it was time to head out for sunrise, we were taken to a pretty private location and were able to have our own space and talk and move around while we waited for the sun to rise. Other people started to fill in but we were in the perfect spot and watched the sun rise and light up the sky and Mount Bromo. Once we had taken as many photos as we wanted, and had our photo taken, we were escorted back to the Truck, and taken across the black sand to a point where we could hike up the mountain and see into the crater! The walk is quite steep in parts and there is a long staircase, but totally manageable, there are horses you can pay to ride if you wish, but we decided to use our own 2 legs. We had as much time as we wanted/needed before heading back to the truck to go for a nice breakfast, and then back down the beautiful winding road towards Malang.
SO worth losing out on sleep for! We had the most incredible time watching the sunrise over Mt Bromo and trekking up to the volcano. Even though we were in a East Java for barely two days we really felt like we made the most of it on this trip! Elvera and all the guides and drivers were so lovely and we really felt like we were in safe hands. We had a delicious buffet lunch and plenty of time to take photos and just enjoy all the views!
We booked the Mount Bromo sunrise tour. Our guide, Bima was very informative, friendly and spoke excellent English. He was prompt, meeting us at our hotel exactly when scheduled. He brought us to a separate viewing area that was above the viewing platforms that were packed with crowds of people. This area had a much better, unobstructed view of the sunrise over the Mount Bromo area. The sunrise was a spectacular red but unfortunately due to low fog, Mount Bromo was not in full view. Bima provided interesting insights about the area, the nearby mountains, volcanic activity, Indonesia and the people. I would highly recommend this trip and especially using Bima as your guide.
