Make the most of your trip to Ho Chi Minh City with a full day tour that allows you to discover the best of the city, and takes you to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, the very same tunnels that played an integral parting in the Vietnam-American war. Choose from three different tours depending on whether you want a pick up service, or how big you want your tour group size to be. On the day of your tour, start the day early with a pick up from your hotel or by meeting up with the rest of the tour group. The first leg of your tour will be the city tour. Visit some of the most popular sites, including the Reunification Palace, a top choice for travelers who are looking to dig up some of Vietnam's history. Next up: Notre Dame Cathedral, which was established by French colonists in the 1860s. Famous for its beautiful French-inspired architecture, and towering bell towers that reach 190 feet, it's truly a sight to behold. Afterwards, you'll be taken to the Central Post Office, then the War Remnants Museum for a more in-depth look at the history and culture of Vietnam. From there, you'll take a 2.5 hour drive all the way to Cu Chi Tunnels. Crawl through the tight tunnels, walk around the subterranean village built by the Viet Cong and learn more about the Vietnam-American war. Before you head back to the city, indulge in some delicious snacks - a fantastic way to end a fulfilling and engaged day.

Travel around Ho Chi Minh City just like the locals do. Choose a morning or afternoon hotel pick up then hop on the back of a scooter and hit the streets for an authentic adventure on this 4 hour trip. Tick off the top things to do in Ho Chi Minh City starting at Reunification Palace, an important site in Vietnamese war history before heading to the impressive Notre Dame Basilica, a beautiful gothic cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office, built by Gustave Eiffel and the only means of communication with the rest of the world during the Vietnamese War. Stop by the iconic Opera House and City Hall before spending time at the War Remnants Museum, a sad and moving location but a must-see in Saigon to learn about Vietnam's war-torn past. The last stop before being dropped back at your hotel is the Jade Emperor Pagoda, at atmospheric Taoist temple visited by President Obama in 2016. You can feel completely safe on this Saigon scooter tour as all drivers are highly trained and have years of practise navigating Ho Chi Minh City's notorious traffic. So sit back and relax while your friendly driver guide tells you more about Saigon's top sights.

What people are saying about Museums in Ho Chi Minh City

It’s a great tour if you have only 1 day for Ho Chi Minh City. The tour covers the major attractions within the city such as the reunification palace, the cathedral, post office and war museum in the morning followed by the Cu Chi Tunnels in the afternoon. I especially enjoyed the war museum and the tunnels. The tour leaves you back in the city by 6:30-7:00 PM. The lunch provided is also pretty good. The guide didn’t have a great grasp of history or English but made up for that with his enthusiasm.

If you are on a tight timeframe in Ho Chi Minh City this is a great day tour to capture the must see highlights - War Remnants Museum and Cu Chi Tunnels as well as the other interesting things Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office and the country side. The lunch was excellent and our guide Tay Tay from TNK Travel did a fantastic job. Highly recommend this tour though it is a nearly 12 hour day. Only slight improvement would be to reduce the time spent at the Palace to enable at least 1.5 hours at War Museum.

This is probably one of the best ways to enjoy the major sights of Ho Chi Minh City as the tour was convenient and enjoyable. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history and the interesting stories about the places we went to in HCM’s central historic district. The tour of the Cu Chi tunnels was an unforgettable experience as we got to crawl into the tunnels and fire the guns that the Vietnamese resistance fighters. I highly recommend the tour to first time visitors to HCM.

Worth going especially for first timers in the city. The tour covered most of the important tourist & historical destinations in the city. I can say if you only have 1-2 days here, you should take this tour which is convenient. The Independence Palace can get crowded with both local students (even though on a Sunday) and tourists, having a tour guide buying the entrance tickets and showing you the way really helped. No guided tour in the War Remnants Museum, Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral (under renovation so we couldn't come in unfortunately - perhaps because it was a Sunday and there was Mass going on) - our tour guide gave brief information on the bus and then we were free to roam on ourselves. Highlight of the trip was the tour to Cu Chi Tunnel (pronounced ku chi) which was about 2 hrs ride out of Ho Chi Minh City. Before reaching the Tunnel area, the bus would also make a stop at the Handicapped Handicraft Village where you can buy unique handmade artwork created by some of the victims of the Agent Orange. We went on a Sunday and it was a bigger tour group, about 30 people or so. Our tour guide, Giang (or nickname River), was very cheerful, informative and helpful. On top of the information about the sites we visited during the tour, he also shared tips on where to shop in the city. During the 2 hrs ride to Cu Chi Tunnel he played documentaries on Vietnam war on the bus. The bus was comfortable, with wifi and USB charging points which are plus points. Lunch provided was in a small hotel in the city. Portion is good but it didn't include drinks. Variety can be improved or the food selection can be more authentic - we were expecting some noodles or spring roll or some interesting/adventurous dishes.
