Take this tour and find some spectacular UNESCO-listed sites. Take the south route of Jeju Island and experience natural wonders such as the Jusangjeolli Cliff and the Cheonjiyeon Falls. Travel to the east side and see Woljeongri Beach, which is known for its emerald waters and relaxing atmosphere. Then, explore Manjang Cave where you will go on a 60-minute trek and spot some interesting structures like lava stalagmites and lava tube tunnels. After lunch, head to the village of Seongeup and get a glimpse of authentic Jeju folk culture. Admire their ingenious alleys that are designed to block the wind. Enjoy viewing sacred stone statues called “Harubang” as well. Be prepared for the Herb Park, whose 180 varieties of herbs make it a delight to the senses. Here, you can participate in an aromatherapy session, where you can luxuriate to a golden foot bath. The tour concludes with three locations that offer spectacular views. In Seopjekoji, sightsee the island’s magnificent eastern shore. The view is heightened during the spring when yellow canola flowers are in full bloom. Immerse yourself in Gwangchigi Beach’s peaceful atmosphere. From here, you can see the entire side view of the tour’s final stop, Seongsan Sunrise Peak. Finally, go on a 60-minute trek around this crown-shaped peak and appreciate views of the island’s eastern end. This peak is famous (and gets its name from) the stunning view of the sunrise that it offers.
We really enjoy our day with a small group of tour exploring the east side of Jeju Island. Manjanggul cave was awesome, the view from Sunrise Peak was amazing, and the cherry on top was picking tangerine. It was such a fun day, thanks to Jin, our tour leader, who also took us to a local traditional korean restaurant for lunch. The food was really yummy. We will come back to Jeju and will explore more
With only one full day in Jeju and a list of places to
visit, there was no way we can go see it all by ourselves in one day. So when we ran across this tour that included almost all of our must see places in Jeju we had to book it.
Jin was our tour guide for the day and was very prompt with the pickup and was very knowledgeable of the sites that he took us to. Each stop of the tour was 💯. And the option to go tangerine picking checked off one of activity that I wanted to do myself.
The price for this tour is very reasonable considering that we didn’t have to figure out how to get place to place by bus or taxi. The cherry on top is the food and activity recommendations that Jin gave us as the tour ended so it felt like tour continued on through the night even after the tour ended.
Thanks Jin for the awesome tour!
We travelled on a rare rainy day in Jeju, but June, our tour guide, made our trip happy and smooth with her professional arrangement, detailed introduction of the scenic spots, fluent English and sharing on Korean culture and her personal experience about Jeju. I am particularly impressed by the guided tour she gave us in the Manjanggul Lava Tube, her intriguing story of haenyeo and how they make a living and our hiking experience at Seongsanilchul Pong. In as short as a day we have seen most of what lies in the northern and eastern coasts of Jeju Island, felt for ourselves the beauty of the natural landscapes and understood how inhabitants of this island have lived since the last century. It was an amazing travel experience and we give credits to June for the nice private tour.
We had a wonderful time on our tour with our great guide JY. She was very knowledgeable about Jeju Island and gave us a ton of great information about it as we drove and at each of the locations. She was even more impressive because it wasn’t the most beautiful day, it rained off and on all day. However, JY was able to still get us to all of the attractions and make sure that we had a great day. We had a wonderful lunch where she was extremely personable and conversational. She made sure that we were always as comfortable as possible.
The attractions themselves were amazing. We loved the lava cave and thought that, that would be the highlight; but then went on to Seongsan Sunrise Peak which blew us away. After checking out a few more mountain peaks, having smoothies on the beachfront, seeing the Jeju Women Divers and a Korean Folk Village, we ended the day at the Herb Park. The garden was beautiful and we ended with an aromatherapy golden foot bath which was wonderful after a day of trekking about.
Thank you so much JY!
Tour guide June was very friendly and helpful. She would give us our own time to explore, never pressured us to hurry up, but yet at the same time was also very engaging and willing to help us take photos and answer our questions. Of the places we were brought to, there was no place we were brought to that tried to hard-sell us any service or product. Pace of tour was great, time well spent! 100% recommend this tour!
my extraordinary experience with my partner, especially when visiting the snow-covered hallasan mountain. the view is very beautiful in all white nuances. The tour guide is friendly and professional, because it documents the participants' photos during the tour. with this tour, we can visit many places in 1 day. very recommended.
