Coron Town Half Day Tour

4.5 229 reviews | 3K+ Booked
There is far more to Coron than just the beaches and islands that it has been been famous all over the world for. This half day tour will bring you to the most noteworthy sightseeing destinations in Coron town with the company of an English speaking guide. You will head up to Mt. Tapyas, the highest point in the area, where you can look out at the view deck and see a gorgeous panorama of the town. Then you'll visit the Maquinit Hot Springs, which have been made famous for their therapeutic properties. A stop at the public market will acquaint you with local colors and customs, as well as give you the opportunity to shop through the arts and crafts that are produced by the locals. The town plaza will give you a glimpse of what every day is like for people of Coron, and how they go about their days in such a tourist-famous town. Lualhati Park will be a great opportunity to get that riverside view of the town, standing at the dock and able to look out over the water. After some more free time to go souvenir shopping, you will head to the famous St. Augustine Church, where you'll learn of its historical background. You'll be able to then take a look into the locals' cashew harvest, which is one of the crucial factors of the local economy as the cashews are sent all over the Philippines as treats. There's more to Coron than its beaches, and this trip will show you its true town colors.

It was a great tour. Taking more than 720 steps going up to Mt. Tapyas was worth it. The view and the sunset were breath taking. After the challenging trek at Mt. Tapyas, we took a dip at Maquinit Hotspring, and my husband and I so love it. These two are something that you shouldnt missed when you go to Coron, Palawan.

My cousin and her bf enjoyed their half day tour in Palawan. They took a lot of photos and the tour guide was really accurate with details. She hope to visit again and book tours in klook for more convenient activities and tour. Thank you klook for taking good care of them for these past few days! Great job!

Its always nice to know the history of every place that you visit and we started our tour by exploring the coron town proper. our guide was really fun. he was actively offering to take out photos. We had ao much fun hiking, getting souvenirs and visiting different parts of the town. Coron is a small town but it is always nice to have someone tour you around if you are new in the place plus our guide shares history and stories of the different places that we have visited . :)

Awesome and hassle-free experience! They were on time and never fail to update you which we really appreciate. Make sure to prepare yourself for the 720 steps to climb Mt. Tapyas, God knows I tried but failed. I hope to come back and reach the top. The tourist guide and driver were very accommodating and informative.

Kuya Nyoy, our tour guide is great! He explained to us in details all of our questions and introduce to us the Beauty of Coron. We are a group of 6 plus 2 other peeps, Hello Aj and Jers! this tour is definitely a must to take! Our 1st stop is the Boulevard, commonly known as Lualhati Park. We didn't appreciate it that much as this tour is booked on our 3rd day of stay in Coron. As we always see this park. 2nd and 3rd - Souvenir Shop and St. Agustin Church Price at the Souvenier Shop ranges from 45-90 per piece for the bracelets/anklets and 100 for 3 for bundles. For shirts - 350-600, for Cashe Based Products -90-200. I would recommend to buy your cashew based products here rather than the Cashew Factory. 4th stop is the Mt. Tapyas, Kuya Nyoy gave us a bottle of water for this 700+ steps to the top. It was really tiring but it was worth it! the scenery on the top is breathtaking. One advice tho, make sure that you eat first before taking this hike. there is no store available at the top. 5th stop- Maquinit Hotspring, after all the hike at Mt. Tapyas, this place will definitely will make you relax. A 5-5 score for me! last stop is the Cashew factory, mind you this store is pricey, ranging from 100 -200 per product. My advice is to buy your souveniers at the Souvenier Shop. All cashew nuts based product is a bit pricey here compare to the Souvenier Shop. And there is a Dried Fish store just across, if you want to buy some. price ranges from 50-100.

We enjoyed the city tour and had enough time to wander on the highlights of the tour which is Mt. Tapyas and the Maquinit hotspring. It was a very long steps to the top of Mt. Tapyas and it was tiring but our guide is very good in motivating us to keep on going. he was willing to take pictures of us too on the way. It was worth the climb. The hotspring has a lot of visitors but not overcrowded. It was very relaxing to dip our tired feet on the pool
