Puerto Princesa is more than its scenic surroundings and beautiful beaches; it's also a location full of amazing cultural locations that are vital to every tourist's visit. Your first stop, the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, is a valuable sanctuary that protects the fauna found within the region. You'll not only be able to observe the Philippine crocodiles, but also other animals such as ostriches and bearcats. Then it's off to Mitra's Ranch, which gives you a spectacular panoramic view of Puerto Princesa. You'll find yourself craving for a sweet treat when you hit your next spot at Baker's Hill, which is famed all over the Philippines for its sweets, with everything from cashew nuts, hopia, brownies, and more local delicacies that are perfect for snacking and bringing home as souvenirs. At Binatuan Creations' Weaving Loom Center, you'll be able to see and even try making handloom woven products and items made from indigenous fibers, which are vital to local economy. You'll then visit the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral, a historically poignant location which held the first Catholic Mass in Puerto Princesa during the Spanish Era. More Spanish-era history will be found in the Plaza Cuartel, used as a garrison by Spanish soldiers in WW2. You'll end the tour with time to relax with a stroll down the Promenade and Baywalk, with time to step into the souvenir shops for gifts.
The fireflies of Puerto Princesa are famous for being a breathtaking spectacle. This tour will get you right up close to this amazing natural wonder. You'll be able to enjoy a delicious buffet dinner before you climb aboard a boat and set off on the Iwahig River. As dusk falls and darkness settles, the light show of the fireflies begin. It is only in Southeast Asia where fireflies glow in unison; they are a repeating, glowing beat, as seen through the mangrove trees. The whole queue of mangroves and trees will be lit with flashing fireflies, glowing together, and so distinct that it is said that in these parts of the world, fishermen use them as a form of guiding system to find their way in the darkness of the night. Don't miss the chance to see these breathtaking wonders when you head to Puerto Princesa!

What people are saying about City Tours in Palawan
This is the perfect finale for our 4-day trip in palawan! Our destination changed to the Long falls since the original falls (the one in the ad pictures) was dry when we did this tour. The trek to the falls went on for a little over an hour...was definitely exhausting (not to mention a little scary) but definitely WORTH IT!!!
You really have to start the trek early so you wouldn't be bothered by the heat of the sun especially on the way back. Also, its highly recommended to put on the proper gear for this trek.
The Lonely Beach, the last stop for this tour is a must see. Its quaint bare and serene...the perfect escape.
Our tour guides from the Wild Explorers are highly recommended. They are very nice and they serve the best meal we had during our trip 😊
This is a very challenging itinerary. It needs to climb the mountain. The forest is quite primitive and there is no trail, and there is a sense of thorns and thorns. Especially when we went to the day, it was a very difficult thing, because the rain increased the mountain climbing. Difficulty, but also because the rain allowed us to see the waterfall (the tour guide said that the waterfall is not visible during the dry season because there is no water). It is recommended that people who are afraid of hard work and hardships should not participate in this activity, but if they are adventurous and want to travel in depth, it is recommended to participate! There was a tour guide, a driver and a chef who cooked lunch for us. They waited for half an hour before the scheduled time. The car was Nissan Titan SV 4WD. It was very new and comfortable. The mountain climbing process can keep everything in the car. on. It is recommended to carry water, anti-mosquito, and small biscuits. It is recommended to wear hiking shoes or non-slip waterproof rubber shoes. The tour guide has two telescopic trekking poles for people who need it. We are a private trip for four people. The tour guide is accompanied by the whole process. The English is quite fluent in standard. It will take care of everyone's situation, help take pictures, and bring the atmosphere to chat with us. After reaching the waterfall, you can challenge the last high point according to your personal status. The above view is better, but it is really difficult, and you have to do what you can. At noon to the long beach seaside chalet, there are a lot of flies, but the meal is very delicious. For dinner, you can go to the beach to play with water. It is recommended to bring a change of clothes. The cabin has a shower room, which is very convenient! The tour guide along the way also took us to take some small spots to take pictures. When I returned to the city, I also took the opportunity to accompany us to buy things and then sent us back to the hotel. The guide chef and driver were really super good! The waterfall is not very big or very special, but the process of climbing is very good! It is a trip worth participating!
