About the event
It’s the summer of 1963, and 17-year-old Frances “Baby” Houseman is on holiday with her family at Kellerman’s, an idyllic Catskills resort. Sheltered and idealistic, Baby’s world changes forever when she meets the charismatic dance instructor Johnny Castle. Swept into a thrilling world of passion, rebellion, and life-changing dance lessons, their unforgettable romance builds to the iconic lift in the legendary finale.
Written by Eleanor Bergstein, creator of the original 1987 smash-hit film, this record-breaking West End production is directed by Federico Bellone, features breathtaking choreography by Austin Wilks, and offers expert music supervision by Richard John. Starring Michael O’Reilly as Johnny alongside Pippa Jackson as Baby, and produced by Karl Sydow, this sensational show brings the beloved story to life with unmatched energy.
Packed with timeless anthems including “Hungry Eyes,” “Do You Love Me?” and the show-stopping “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” this electrifying stage production delivers a nostalgic night of sensational dance and irresistible romance.
