Still undecided on where to go for some Easter fun? Why not embark on a mindful egg-hunting adventure at The Mills, where your little ones can become explorers for the day! From 11 to 27 April, 2025, The Mills presents “Easter Eggventure”, where children can roam around The Mills with a complimentary game kit and set off on an exhilarating egg hunt, all while practising mindfulness and learning to live in the moment. Do not miss the beloved capsule toy machines that captivate kids and adults alike!
Since its opening in 2018, The Mills has been a catalyst for diverse art and community events, igniting inspiration, preserving the past, and fostering a new cultural fabric in the city. The Mills always finds creative ways to celebrate holidays, hoping to spark joy within the community through different festive happenings. This Easter is no exception—bring the whole family to experience the unique fun and excitement!
Six Missions to Challenge Ourselves and Learn the Essence of Mindfulness
The Mills has prepared six exciting Easter egg-hunting activities during the weekends and public holidays from 12 to 27 April, tailored for children to experience the amusement of adventure and take on different challenges!
This event is also hosted in collaboration with Nan Fung Group and The D. H. Chen Foundation, integrating mindfulness tips from their joint “Pause & Breathe” programme into each challenge. By simplifying abstract concepts, the programme aims to nurture children's ability to stay present from an early age and apply mindfulness in their daily lives.
Mission 1: The Impossible Golden Egg
The adventure begins with a golden discovery! Little explorers will start their journey at the egg mine, where they must retrieve a golden egg using tool provided at random—which might not necessarily be very useful to the mission—within the time limit. This mission challenges little explorers to stay calm in the face of adversity and going with the flow!

Mission 2: “Egg”-cellent Vision
After unearthing the golden egg, it's time to set off in search of where to go next. But wait—two very similar signposts appear ahead. Which one will lead the little adventurers in the right direction? Stay calm, be patient, and spot the differences carefully to find the true path!

Mission 3: Race! Race! Tumbler
Just when you were about to move forward, an obstacle suddenly appears! Little explorers must use the only tool in hand to transport the golden egg out of the danger zone within the time limit. Try to stay calm under pressure, take a deep breath, and find the best solution for the situation!
Venue: Atrium, 1/F
Mission 4: The “Egg”venturer
A farmer needs the help of little adventurers after accidentally planting cherry radishes that look just like red eggs among the carrots! As you journey through the fields, use your keen observation skills to help him sort things out. Stay sharp and remember—patience is the key to success!

Game 5: Pizzaiolo
It's pizza break time! However, the pizza restaurant is unexpectedly short-staffed, so our little adventurers step in as part-time pizzaiolos, unleashing boundless creativity to craft imaginative, one-of-a-kind culinary delights.
Venue: CHAT/MILL6, 2/F
Final Mission: Emo House
After overcoming countless challenges, our little adventurers have finally arrived at their destination – Emo House! Check in at the Emo House and complete a quick exercise to see if you've gained deeper insights into your emotions. Plus, you can take this mini activity with you to regularly reflect on your emotional journey in the future!

Limited Easter Gifts for Successful Challengers
Little adventurers who successfully complete all the missions and collect all the stamps will be rewarded with fabulous Easter gifts, including a The Mills Pin and one card from The Happy Shuffle Card pack (random pattern).
