Miyavi Live in Singapore 2023 | Concert Information

Singer-songwriter, actor, and guitar virtuoso Takamasa Ishihara, better known by his stage name MIYAVI, will take the stage at Marina Bay Sands on 22 July 2023 as part of his Return of the Samurai Guitarist tour. MIYAVI is among the various global headliners for Marina Bay Sands’ inaugural Music Festival – Where Music Takes Over, which is slated to take place from 15 July to 2 August.

MIYAVI is a musician, actor, and philanthropist bridging cultures across the globe with his music. Known as a “Samurai Guitarist” to his fans for his unique style of guitar playing, MIYAVI has released a total of 13 studio albums, and has played to over 30 countries across eight world tours. MIYAVI has most recently released his latest album titled Imaginary on 15 September 2021.

Apart from his music, MIYAVI is also active on the silver screen. Last year, he co-starred in the Netflix thriller KATE and has served as a judge on the Japanese rendition of the reality television show The Masked Singer, which is currently airing on Amazon TV. MIYAVI made his big screen debut in the Oscar-nominated film Unbroken (2014), and has since appeared in the blockbuster Kong: Skull Island (2017) and the live-action adaptation of the popular manga Bleach (2018). His filmography also includes movies like Stray (2019) and Maleficent 2 (2020).

MIYAVI is also a brand ambassador for multiple brands, including being the face of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones in Japan. He has appeared on billboards worldwide for Moncler’s Beyond campaign, and has a few other brand endorsements under his belt, including being brand ambassador for American Airlines, Dell Computers and McLaren. He is also the face of Gucci Japan, and has appeared in Gucci’s Off the Grid campaign. MIYAVI has also walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week 2018, modeling designer Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 collection.
