Hotels near Cheongwadae Observatory

The room was designed with a traditional Korean house (Hanok) theme and felt very clean. The size was also sufficient. The location is convenient with easy access to the station. The staff were very kind and helpful. The coffee at the cafe on the first floor was also delicious.

Its geographical advantage lies in its proximity to various tourist attractions (Gyeongbokgung Palace, museums, art galleries, and Ssamziegil Road). A family of four stayed comfortably in the room (Triple Standard), and the accommodation was generally quiet. We appreciated the cleanliness and the replenishment of amenities. However, the hotel parking lot was a bit crowded and charged a fee, possibly due to sharing the space with other businesses (discounts available for guests).

Transportation Accessibility: Excellent Service: Thank you to Alice and Anna for the early check-in. Hotel Location: Insadong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Hanok Village are all within walking distance. Cleanliness: There was no mold in the bathroom.

Good location, decent, clean and big space for its price.

Taking the Incheon Airport Limousine Bus #6701 directly to the hotel entrance is very convenient, and the return trip is from the same location. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from both Gwanghwamun Station and City Hall Station, with bus stops also nearby. The Seoul City Tour Bus stop is located to the left when exiting the hotel; you can ride for free after exchanging your Seoul Pass for a ticket. There is a CU convenience store downstairs, and several Starbucks, small Olive Young stores, Ediya Coffee shops, McDonald's, Isaac Toast, Wangbijib Korean BBQ, etc., are nearby. The hotel provides scales for travelers to easily check their luggage weight. We booked a family room for four, and the space was quite large. The room was cleaned daily, and bottled water was replenished.

The environment is clean, and the service staff are very friendly. We arrived close to 11 PM, and the front desk staff were still very kind and patient in helping us check in. The location is also excellent, with a GS25 and 7-Eleven downstairs, and lots of restaurants and street food stalls nearby (the street food stalls are very cool and authentic). There are two subway stations nearby, both within easy walking distance.�

spacious room esp for a family. love the location, the airport limousine bus 6701 drops you off right in front of the hotel thus making the transpo from the airport hassle free. most attractions are a walking distance like myeongdong, nandaemun market, insadong..though a bit old, stay was excellent...the beds were heavenly. will surely stay here again.

I am from the US, solo femal traveler in my mid-thirties & BTS ARMY, and I stayed in the female-only capsule dorm: This Hotel/guesthouse exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, the staff were great, and all the guests respected that they were in shared spaces. Guesthouses like this are common across Asia, but not very common in the states, and this one was a lot more high quality than some others I have stayed in (the toilets are bidets <3). The free breakfast in the morning was always delicious, and they provide you with amenity kits in case you forgot toiletries or earplugs. Since it is a shared space, the earplugs and my bed's distance from the bathroom/laundry were critical for me as a light sleeper. You do have to climb into the beds. If you come here, don't miss the view from the rooftop, either. The location is good--easy walk to Anguk and Jongro-3 stations, Insadong, and Ikseondong as well. Don't miss the pocha alley at Jongro-3, especially Fri-Sun.
