If you want to see and experience the latest Chinese technology in drones, robotics, 3D printing and self-driving cars, I would recommend this tour. I took the full-day version of the tour in Feb. 2026 and enjoyed it very much. The tour guide, Susan, was knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. For every one of the technologies introduced, she made sure that I was given a complete explanation and a hands-on experience. I actually had a bubble tea delivered to me by a drone, remote controlled a robot dog, saw 3D objects being printed and rode in a driverless taxi.

I had an amazing experience on this tour! My tour guide, Mr Jiajun, showed me exciting new technologies such as robo-taxis, drone delivery, and robo-coffee and also took me on a bike tour around the city, where I visited the statue of Mr. Deng Xiaoping in Lianhuashan Park. His service was truly first-class and even arranged a business-class seat for my on train journey.

We originally signed up for a supermarket experience, but it was changed to a McDonald's Little Employee experience due to insufficient group size. This experience was very interesting and fulfilling. First, the children received employee badges, did a simple dance, and then welcomed guests at the door. Next, they cleaned the tables and store, then poured ice cream and made hamburgers. Finally, there was a certificate and a Happy Meal gift. The children loved it.

Prior to the trip, Manny from China Memory Travel actively contacted me regarding transportation arrangements. On the day of the trip, there were misunderstandings about the pick-up point and issues with seating on the vehicle, but Manny was very helpful in resolving them. The tour guide and driver was quite responsible and made an effort to provide explanations while driving. The other members of the group were all approachable and friendly. The sightseeing locations, especially the Gold Coast yacht tour and the Kingkey 100 observation deck, were very good. It would have been even better if the weather wasn't so hot.

The tour was great. Managed to visit most of the key locations in Foshan and Shunde. The lion dance show was very crowded however. But the walking street and Water Village was also nice highlights. Managed to try many local delicacies and bought many souvenirs. The driver was really good. He dropped us at the right spot and picked us up from wherever we ended up at the end of our walk.

A great experience with fun activities and delicious food! The food is abundant, enough to fill up both adults and children.

The activity is very well-designed and led by professional baristas throughout. Children personally brewed chocolate and coffee, and also acted as cleaners to learn how to manage the store. The children all had a great time and also gained some understanding of the profession!
