My tour guide is very good at explaining but all the tour guides aeound are also good at explaining. Itinerary is not packed. I went to the museum but I think the bottom level has nothing much to see, the top level talks about similar architectures in India. Got to know about Buddhism in Chong Qing. They brought us to a restaurant for lunch, food was good. They collected extra 52 RMB from everyone for lunch.

It was a great day although it was raining. The carvings were amazing. I got lost at the site of Baodingshan Rock Carvings, but the driver could find his way to pick me up.

if the shared lunch could be changed to individual meal sets would be more hygienic. Had to go with the lunch option arranged because no other food options along the way. Vehicle was a little old and ventilation was not very good. just a note, you also have to pay separately for the tour explanation ear piece.

It's best to have a WeChat account before and after placing your order so the tour guide can contact you. The night before, they will ask where you're staying and send a bus to pick you up near the Hyatt Hotel. You may transfer to another bus depending on the attractions in your day tour. I joined a bus tour and went to Changzhou Ancient City in the early morning to take pictures and use the restroom. The tour guide reminded us to just take pictures since there aren't many shops. The tour guide said there's only one restaurant near Dazu Rock Carvings. To keep the group together, we had to eat a set meal together, which cost 30 RMB per person. The electric car inside Dazu Rock Carvings costs 22 RMB per person for a round trip between the museum and Baoding Mountain Stone Carvings within the park. Those over 65 who sign up for this tour will receive a refund of 50 RMB. The tour guide I had this time, Xiao Wen, was excellent. She constantly explained the history and content of the stone carvings, such as the Buddha's filial piety, the six paths of reincarnation, and the punishments of the 18 levels of hell, encouraging people to be kind and accumulate virtue. If I hadn't joined the tour, I probably would have just glanced around. With the explanations, I felt it was very worthwhile. There were local specialty samples on the tour bus, and there was no pressure to buy anything. The drop-off location at the end of the tour was 18 Ladders, across from the Jiaochangkou subway station, which has subway lines 1 and 2, making it quite convenient.

Buying online is very convenient. The Chinese company that guides you will add you on WeChat and arrange a meeting point. A car will pick you up and drop you off to get on another car that will take us to Dujiangyan. At first, I was worried about getting to the meeting point, but the company will arrange a meeting point near our accommodation. They will stop and pick us up at different points, so we don't have to travel far, which is very convenient. Also, the price is better than buying tickets around the accommodation. It's safe, the guides are good. There's an additional charge of 22 yuan for the car and 30 yuan for lunch. There was so much food that we couldn't finish it all.
