My partner and I wanted a chill itinerary and this posting was the only one that fit all our needs - great wall and Gubei Water Town transport with no tour guide, from morning until night. Ya Jun (亚军) was our assigned driver and he was very friendly and helpful, offering to help buy tickets in advance, walking us to the attraction entrances and recommending a local delicacy for lunch. The car was very comfortable with no cigarette smell, allowing us to take power naps to recharge along the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Gubei Water Town. Our tour guide, Cindy, was very responsible; she contacted me in advance and arranged to pick us up from a hotel near us. The service was excellent. 👍

My tour guide was Cindy. She was so kind and so accommodating, fast responses and very communicative even when we ended up being lost during our free time in Gubei water town. She kept everyone organized despite being in a large group. She pays so much attention, and I can see her passion as a tour guide. For any advice for people coming in March, wear at least 4 layers because it is quite chilly!

The tour was definitely worth it. Our guide Zhang Qi was really thoughtful and gave us great tips for where to eat and where to see the best view of the Wall. He also explained us some History facts. Being able to see the wall at night was really amazing, I definitely recommend planning this trip if you want to see the Great Wall from all sides, after all, you can even see the sunset from the Great wall.
