Hotels near Bukchon Hanok Village

I really enjoy the Hanok Hotel Daam's vibe in chilly weather in the Autumn season there. Even I booked the double bed with only myself, I felt the room is still abit crowded. (I need to push-in and drag out my luggage from the shelf space under the bed everyday, to have enough walking/stand space) But that will not quench my like for this hotel when I ate breakfast and enjoyed the lingering moment after the meal. I like the food this chef served here, there're not multiple dishes serving, but each of them are delicious and diversity everyday. Especially, chef will care you have enoguh food and have excellent service and friendly smile that make you felt like home and be careness. I'll recommend the guest who like to pay time in shared space or outing. (There's 24hrs hot water, coffee and tea serving.)

We didn't expect that our stay here will be so convenient and comfortable.The amenities they offer are well-thought of and considered the needs of every traveller. They have heated mattress and heated floors for the cold season. They offer free drinks (soda, water, coffee, tea and the best is that they have ice machine), and snack bar to prepare your noodles Korean-style all conveniently located in the lobby. They offer free use of their automatic washer and dryer for your worn clothes and even have a vacuum sealed packs for your bulky clothes to save on your luggage space. The hotel is honestly a bit far from Myeongdong street but convenienly located in an area where restaurants offer delicious and international cuisines. The hotel staff are fluent in English and are extremely helpful. We will book this hotel again.

hotel location: Near Subway and bus stop location. cleanliness: I noticed that the lady who cleaned our room during our week-long stay on the 5th floor was the same person every day. She was always smiling and greeted us warmly each morning. After a long day of exploring the city, it always felt so nice to come back to a spotless room that smelled amazing, with all the amenities refilled daily. It’s my fourth time in South Korea but my first time staying at Amid, and I must say I didn’t expect it to be this good for the price! Everything exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend this hotel to my friends.

This hotel is great because it offers free parking in the heart of Jongno. The swimming pool is spacious and well-maintained, but be aware that they don't provide life jackets for children, so you'll need to bring your own. The location is excellent for walking to Insadong, and I'm satisfied with the availability of the swimming pool. There's also a kitchen for cooking, and a small kids' lounge that young children will enjoy.

Very good experience overall. The only downside is the lack of space in the bathroom - I couldn't find a spot to place my bath-bag, which is pretty average size or even below it.

Love the cozy traditional hanok interior with modern amenities. Breakfast is included. Not much variety but it is enough for light breakfast. We chose this room because there is more space to put open luggage compared to the other room that have beautiful hanok roof ceiling. There is free wifi for each room and we can borrow the international adapter from the front desk. A little drawback is the closet hanger is too high and too small space. Not an ideal space to put clothing above the kettle/pantry area. There is no hook or hanger in the bathroom. Have to put at the basin rack area. Overall we had a pleasant stay and the bed is comfy to sleep in.
