Things to do in Jiuzhai Valley National Park

This two-day high-speed rail tour of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong was a fantastic experience! The entire itinerary was well-arranged, the round-trip high-speed rail was time-saving and comfortable, and I was very satisfied with the luxurious hotel. The tour guide was professional and enthusiastic, provided detailed explanations of the attractions, and even took us to taste authentic Tibetan clay pot hotpot, which was unique and atmospheric. Huanglong's scenery was absolutely stunning, and the water colors of Jiuzhaigou were dreamlike. There was no forced shopping throughout the trip, making it relaxing and enjoyable. The value for money was excellent, highly recommended!

The 2D1N JiuZhaiGou tour package was excellent. The PIC contacted me through WeChat after the booking, and informed the necessary tour information the afternoon before. Instructions were very clear for the train journey from 成都东 to 黄龙九寨. We then met with our tour guide, Ms. 黄金花 once we reached 黄龙九寨 station. She was an excellent tour guide, providing organised and detailed information for both 黄龙 and 九寨沟 location. She was also very attentive and caring, consistently checking up on us and providing reminders throughout both locations as it was free and easy arrangement in these areas. The itinerary and additional expenses not included for the tour were accurate as described on Klook.

Visited in mid-October after Golden Week — still crowded, but the autumn scenery made it worthwhile. The overnight train was comfortable and well-organised, and our guide managed transfers smoothly between train, bus, and hotel. Jiuzhaigou was stunning — crystal-clear lakes, golden forests, and snow-capped peaks that looked unreal. The park is huge, so having a guide plan the route helped us cover the highlights efficiently. Huanglong was equally beautiful but challenging due to high altitude — bring oxygen canisters and pace yourself. Meals were decent but salty, and the hotel was basic yet clean. Overall, this 3D2N tour offers great value for anyone wanting a fuss-free way to see both Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. Logistics were seamless, views were unforgettable, and despite the crowds, it’s absolutely worth the trip.

Although the weather was cloudy and drizzly, the autumn scenery of Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou was still captivating. I hope to visit again in the future and experience the beautiful scenery reflected in the blue sky.

The most commendable aspect of this trip was definitely our tour guide, Wu Bin (Dorje)! His explanations were lively, engaging, and he was incredibly attentive, filling the entire journey with laughter and warmth. The overall itinerary was well-arranged, but due to the peak tourist season, we arrived at Huanglong in the late afternoon. The lighting wasn't ideal, so the scenery wasn't at its most captivating. However, during the Jiuzhaigou portion of the trip, our guide thoughtfully provided his own detailed explanations and suggested routes, making our visit very smooth, fulfilling, and enjoyable. Overall, this was a truly unforgettable trip – excellent guide, magnificent scenery, just a bit crowded due to the large number of tourists.

This three-day, two-night trip was wonderful. The scenery in Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou was beautiful and delightful. Our tour guide, Xiao Wang, provided clear explanations, was friendly, and courteous. She often proactively offered assistance to us and other travelers. She also took beautiful photos of me and my family at the best photo spots in the scenic area, which are of great commemorative value.
