Things to do in Budapest

It was definitely worth it. It was easy to find the pick up point. The drop point was also the same. Connectivity of transport is good. The view of the illuminated Parliament house is absolutely amazing. We crossed all the bridges and came back. Carry your earphones with you .

Tickets are completely sold out for popular times on weekdays, so be sure to buy them online in advance! The tour includes a glass of red wine/champagne/beer or cola. The recent sunset time is around 6:15 PM, and I bought a ticket for the 6:20 PM boat. You can arrive early, around 6:00 PM, to rest in the lounge next to the pier, so you don't have to stand outside in the cold wind. Arrive early to board early and choose your seat. The lounge also has a boat company-exclusive restroom, so you don't need to use the portable toilets on the pier. The 6:20 PM boat arrives in front of the Parliament Building just as it gets completely dark (around 7:00 PM), so you can watch from sunset until it gets dark. I sat in the first row on the left side of the boat, which was a perfect spot. Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastion are both on the left side when it's dark. Only on the outbound trip to the Parliament Building do you need to stand up, walk to the right side to take a photo, and then come back. On the return, the left side will also face the Parliament Building, but the boat will be farther away, so the photos won't be as beautiful. That's all I have to share.

There are a few key points to know in advance. In addition to the purchase voucher, there will also be a local platform email. Usually, the ticket redemption location is towards the photo location (on the left side facing the main entrance 🫲). If you purchased a private cabin: please be sure to double-check at the counter. A blue wristband means you don't have a private cabin (cabin as pictured), while a yellow wristband means you do. Once inside, the hottest pool is at P5. I like it and it's worth the money because it's good. The staff are nice, the food is good, the wine is really good as well, and also the view and the two-hour live music is very relatable. I like that they let you order before the cruise even starts. I like it, and they're also on time, so that's good.

highly recommended to do when visiting Budapest. do it on sunset so you will get a nice pictures of the place.

What a lovely cruise, well organized and for me it was the cherry on the cake for my trip to Budapest. Stunning sights. Lovely service and welcome drink (it wasn't enough though) Just note that it's pier 42 which is near #1

This trip started with a distant view of Esztergom from across the river in Slovakia, followed by a visit to Esztergom itself. For lunch, we went to Visegrád, and the restaurant the tour company chose for us had delicious and reasonably priced meals. After that, we visited the castle, and finally, we strolled around Szentendre before taking a boat back to Budapest. Our guide, Maria, was excellent. At each attraction, she allowed us to freely choose whether to follow her or explore on our own, and she gave us about an hour to visit each site, which was enough time for us to take pictures and buy souvenirs. Since our English isn't very good, we had to find the guide again at each new attraction to confirm the meeting time and place, and she was always patient and friendly in explaining until she was sure we understood.

Budapest is definitely worth a visit. Guide is professional and the trip gave us a good glimpse of the beautiful city.
