Hot air balloon – although the weather was not good and flights were unable to operate in Göreme, where we stayed, the admin contacted me promptly and explained the available options. I’m glad I made the right choice to take the hot air balloon ride in Soğanlı Valley. Flying at –2°C and about 1,500 meters above the ground was truly an unforgettable experience — absolutely wow! A bucket-list dream of riding a hot air balloon has finally been achieved. The hot air balloon guide and flight crew were very nice and friendly. The pilot explained the surroundings to us while we were in the air, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The landing was super smooth, though getting out of the balloon basket was a bit of a struggle — even for a tall girl like me! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and ended nicely with a celebratory glass of juice. Do get the video package too! Worth it lah, guys — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so why not? 😊

We did the Red Tour today and had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Hakan, and our driver, Kamuran, were exceptional. We learned so much from Hakan’s sharing. He was knowledgeable, funny, and very helpful throughout the tour. Highly recommended.

Green tour has a lot of hiking and walking. It’s more exhausting than red tour but it’s interesting to discover the underground city and caves. Our tour guide is very nice and friendly. Also thankful to our driver for the safe trip.

Our guide Fatih was awesome, he explained the geology and history of places we went to. The lunch was good as well (soup, salad and one main). The tour was amazing and the underground city was very interesting. It does have some shopping stops however (which is typical of tour groups in touristy areas) - but the staff are not extremely pushy in sales.

The guide’s explanations were very thorough—not only about the sightseeing spots, but also about the activities. Since the tour involved walking through caves and hiking up some steep slopes, the guide paid close attention to our comfort, such as how easy the paths were to walk and whether we had enough energy. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a full and fulfilling day. The reservation process was smooth, and the guide even sent us a confirmation message the day before. I’m truly glad that we were able to visit Cappadocia, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

I really enjoyed this tour! The hospitality was on another level compared to most places in Turkey. Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and facts of his hometown, and you can truly feel his passion for it. Our driver made sure we arrive on time and there was no rush, so that was a plus!The sights were absolutely breathtaking, and the lunch was very delicious. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be for the local tourist area to be kept cleaner…there was quite a bit of trash, which is sad and takes away from the beautiful scenery. This has nothing to do with our tour though; our tour itself was fantastic! Highly recommended!

really nice tour with different sights - rock formations, lake and the underground city was most interesting but can be physically tiring as you have to bend down to walk in the narrow tunnels. the hike was also a bit tiring as we were there in hot sun during summer period

The Red Tour was a great experience for me. Overall, our driver and the tour guide Jacob were very efficient and knowledgeable. Time of pick up at the hotel was on the dot. Even though the weather was not favourable, I would say the it was worth joining this tour because the activities were efficiently planned to cover as many spots as possible. Just a little recommendation, kindly ensure that the smell of smoke is eradicated inside the van. But, overall as I have said totally good experience.

Our hot air balloon ride was absolutely exhilarating! They pick you up before sunrise, and in the winter it’s a little later which honestly worked out perfectly 😂. The balloon pilots were fantastic: super experienced, friendly, and reassuring. As someone who was having second thoughts (scaredy cat here 🙋‍♀️), I felt completely safe and well-informed the entire time. They made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The landing was so smooth,hardly noticed it! We did a selfie with them,they were so cool! There’s an option to purchase an Insta360 video for $30, but we decided to skip it. Even without it, the views were incredible floating over the valley was magical and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Overall, 10/10 would recommend. A definite must do! 🎈
