    Battling The Pandemic War

    covid malaysia update news
The number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia doesn't seem to be slowing down, with four-digit numbers recorded for few weeks now, and even surpassing the 100,000 mark just a day before Christmas.
The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) now covers all states in Malaysia with the exception of Sarawak, and has been further extended till 4 Feb 2021 in Penang, Selangor, Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Labuan, Johor, Kelantan, and Sabah.

    COVID Red Zones In Malaysia

covid red zone zon merah malaysia
To highlight the severity of local COVID-19 spread, districts in Malaysia are classified into zones based on the number of cases recorded in the area. A district in Malaysia that reports 41 local COVID-19 cases and above within the past 14 days will be declared as a red zone (Mukim Merah), along with the implementation of stringent SOP such as school closures and interstate or interdistrict travel bans.
