    The beach strip is lined with bars and restaurants that come to life once the night falls. We'd suggest going earlier to catch the sunset (pack a mat and some snacks for a picnic if you'd like!), before chilling at one of the many beach bars available.     Located opposite the peaks of the greater Penang Hill, Bukit Hijau is a lesser-known spot frequented by local hikers. Hike up the Cangkat Tembaga Hiking Trail, a journey of roughly 4.2 kilometres, and be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Farlim neighbourhood and Penang Hill. There are several vantage points to view the island from the top and we'd recommend to come early in the morning to catch beautiful sights of the sunrise.
