Coffee lovers would probably be familiar with the hyped Kyoto-born coffee shop - %Arabica, known for its minimalistic and aesthetic coffee shops, state-of-the-art roasting machines, and amazing coffee. Kenneth Shoji, the founder of %Arabica started the business with a humble passion and love for coffee, as well as the mission to bring the brand across unique lands and cultures.

Since the opening of the first store in the beautiful historic city of Kyoto, Japan back in 2014, there are currently 58 %Arabica stores across the globe. The latest addition in Bangkok is Thailand’s flagship store - the first in the country, and 7th in Southeast Asia.

    Sneak Peek, Anyone?

Located on the first floor of the IconSiam Shopping Mall in Bangkok, Thailand's flagshop %Arabica store features a minimalist yet futuristic white design, uncluttered interior, a reflective ceiling, and monochrome walls, similar to some other outlets in the region. The store also has a floating coffee bean cellar and 300-degree stool seats where you can sip on your coffee and people-watch.
It was originally supposed to open its doors in January, but the opening date was pushed back to the 1st of June due to the pandemic. Iconsiam is also home to the first Apple Store in Thailand (which is located right in front of the new %Arabica store!) as well as Sook Siam, an impressive indoor floating food market that made headlines when it was opened back in 2019.

Be sure to pop by the beautiful store for a cup of coffee the next time you're in Bangkok once the pandemic subsides! In fact, we've actually heard news that %Arabica might be opening an outlet in Malaysia sometime in the future (based on a post they made on their official Facebook page few months back, when they announced that they're doing location hunting in the city!).

While there's no confirmation on the opening venue and date at the time being, Malaysia is currently listed under locations that are "opening soon" on their official website, so it's definitely something to look forward to!
