Highspeed Ferry Between Rach Gia And Phu Quoc (Phu Quoc Express)

was an experience. the ferry service was reasonable. they provide you water and a wet wipe. only the ferry terminal isn’t in the best form. but there is a seating area for you to wait when you areive early.

Online reservation. You can print out the ferry ticket or download the QR on your phone and use it right away. Good. This is a reservation to use next time.

The worst experience any traveller cold have, let alone a couple of elderly travellers have. We showed up at the dock early to be told that our vouchers/tickets were invalid and we could not travel unless it was the day stated. We found out that the issuer of the vouchers/tickets had entered the wrong date on the vouchers and the boat operator would not allow us to travel on our designated time slot and date and that we had to miss out departure so they can sort it out. They took 1 of our baggage on board and we had to plead with them that they must either let us on board as the email stated the right date but the vouchers had the month and date swapped around. In the end as the boat was about to leave we had to paid for extra tickets for them to let us board otherwise we would miss out connecting road transport waiting for us on the mainland which we had already organised. I would not use Klook again. I tried to claim back the costs of our vouchers but I am still struggling to find where to do it online. We booked for travel on the 04/03/2024 for 2 VIP tickets travelling at 10:00 and the email confirms this booking date and time but the vouchers ended up showing 03/04/2024 for both vouchers and the boat operator didn't allow us to travel. We didn't want to waste time and miss our connecting road transport so we had to buy last minute tickets. We want to get our refunds back for the tickets we bought from Klook.

I would not buy tickets through Klook for Phu Quoc Express. I bought 3 VIP tickets from Phu Quoc to Rach Gia but once I submitted the tickets it changed to from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc and there was no way of canceling or changing it. No refunds. We were lucky we were able to call the Phu Quoc Express themselves to get it changed. Next time buy from Superdong Express instead. It’s better service.
