Reviews
The Edinburgh Vaults & Graveyard Tour was an amazing experience. It really deepened our understanding of the history behind Edinburgh’s architectural bridge structures and the tunnels hidden beneath them. The graveyard visit was especially stunning, and the tour gave a clear insight into Scotland’s history and culture during that period. The tour guide, Jordan, was excellent cheerful, helpful, and always willing to answer and explain any question without hesitation. His energy and knowledge made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended tour for anyone interested in Edinburgh’s history, architecture, and underground stories.
really interesting experience to discover more about the “hidden” Edinburgh. Our guide Ally was entertaining and available for any question our group could have.
The tour guide was both funny and informative however I have one main gripe with the tour. Nowhere does it mention that taking videos isn't allowed! We tried to take a video in the graveyard and were asked by the tour guide "are you recording?". After we said yes he told us "Can you not record? It's a little weird" even though the tour guide was not in the video. I neither understand why it isn't allowed or why one would become a tour guide if they're so camera shy that they're afraid of having their voice in the background! It seems the other tourists were put off too as everyone seemed to put their phones away for the rest of the tour.
I was expecting a real poltergeist phenomenon, but when I arrived, there were flats in front, back, and sides of the cemetery, so I realized it was a frog as soon as I arrived; I can't confirm whether there was a basement or a new one;
