Reviews
The day of the tour, 1 staff met us at our hotel and walked with us together to the bus point and showed us to the right bus. When we reached Chitwan it got a bit confusing but I managed to call the agency and everything went smoothly afterwards! I'm glad that I booked this safari trip package on Klook. It was one of the more affordable ones yet everything was tiptop! As I really wanted to see and hold an elephant upclose, the main guide went out of his way to bring my husband and I to see the resort's elephant! I don't remember the staff name as he forgot to introduce himself to us but I remember his kindness up till today. Will definitely book again with this tour company the next time we plan to come to Chitwan again!
We take a bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan. After arriving in Chitwan, the tour guide picked us up at the bus station. The hotel staff were enthusiastic and friendly. The only drawback is that we only have to go to the bus station from Chitwan to Kathmandu, and then we have to walk or call a taxi back to the hotel. This is a small Defects and regrets…
We took a bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan. After arriving in Chitwan, the tour guide picked us up at the bus station. The hotel staff were warm and friendly, and the tour guide could speak some Chinese. We felt at home. The only drawback is that from Chitwan to Kathmandu, you only have to go to the bus station, and then you have to walk or take a taxi back to the hotel. This is different from what is stated on the Klook profile page. This is a small flaw and regret...
Hotel transfer to the bus station was smooth and efficient. The bus ride however was longer than expected - 7 HOURS - poor road infrastructure and breaks were weirdly set up but you'll learn. Wish they would annouce how long the breaks were. No fault with the tour company tho. Accommodation is nothing fancy, note to bring toiletries as they are not provided by the resort. Resort staff were nice and welcoming. Safari tour was worth the trip. River canoe was fun.
No complaints! Super fun. Lots of animals. I really liked the boat. Love rhinos? you'll see lots. Cool bear.
Everything went smoothly, and the hotel staff and guide were so kind and helpful! We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much!
Fun Experience. 2-day itinerary with several wildlife and cultural activities.
Highly recommend this tour! The experience was excellent and the food was delicious.
The itinerary was packed with activities, including canoeing, jungle trekking, and a jeep adventure, which was very fulfilling. However, the hotel facilities were old and poorly maintained; the showerhead was clogged, reducing water flow and making it difficult to shower. The meals were repetitive, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner being almost identical, making them tiresome after two days.
Good to know
- Binoculars: Don’t forget to bring binoculars! They’ll enhance your wildlife viewing experience, allowing you to spot animals like tigers and rhinos from a distance during safaris and canoe rides.
- Clothing: Wear neutral-colored clothing such as greens and browns. This helps you blend into the natural surroundings, increasing your chances of getting closer to the animals without disturbing them.
- Insect Repellent and Sunscreen: The jungle can be home to mosquitoes and strong sun, so it’s essential to apply insect repellent and sunscreen for a more comfortable experience.
- Best Wildlife Viewing: Wildlife is most active during the early morning and late afternoon, so be prepared for early starts to maximize your chances of seeing rare animals.
- Stay Hydrated: Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day, especially during the warm afternoons while on nature walks and jeep safaris.
- Comfortable Footwear: Pack comfortable walking shoes or boots for nature walks and cultural tours. The terrain can vary from jungle paths to village trails, so sturdy footwear is a must.
- Rain Gear: Weather in Chitwan can be unpredictable, especially during the monsoon season, so it’s wise to carry a light rain jacket just in case.
