You have to be quick to take photos, otherwise you will have to get in the car and continue to the next attraction soon. The tour guide only speaks English, but don't worry, he will try his best to understand what you are talking about and then try to meet your needs.

The trip is fantastic, pity is that the coach from Christchurch to Queenstown voice system broke down and therefore our previous coach from Queenstown to Christchurch have to swap so the coach can go back to Christchurch to be repaired.

The whole journey was well organised with very informative driver who’s commentary throughout the drive very enjoyable

The coach was very spacious given there weren't many passengers on board. The driver only gave us minimal time (around 5 minutes) for photo-taking at the lookout of Mount Cook and the Church of the Good Sheperd even though it was listed as one of the highlights of the tour. I also did not know the coach was passing through the Lindis Pass until halfway through it (there was no photo stops). Overall, the experience was simiar to an intercity bus with occasional, short photo stops. Also, according to the drop-off address on Klook, it was an address at the Christchurch but in fact the driver dropped us off at the bus terminal in the city centre of Christchurch. Having said so, we had a ~2.5 hour lunch break at the Hermitage Hotel near Mount Cook - the hike right next to the hotel was absolutely breathtaking and stunning and it was definitely the real highlight of the tour. The hike is a MUST DO for sure. Other parts of the tour was mediocre.

Due to the heavy snowstorm, the itinerary was changed. We did not reach Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo, but only went straight to queenstown. What a pity! Although the company can change the itinerary to a later day, the itinerary has already been arranged and there is no room for changes.
