Wonderful place to see 🙈the most famous tourist place in South Korea. Autumn in Seoraksan is breathtaking, must be in your bucket list✌️ It is a designated reserved biosphere🫶 also includes cultural landmark🙏
Took a long journey to go there but it was all worth it! Beautiful autumn foliage if you come at the right time. The guide Sky was punctual, nice and tried his best to organise everything for us though there was some hiccup with the cable car side. He will text you a day before as reminder also. Just that if you prefer to hike rather than taking the cable car have to do your own research which route to go as not much briefing on that and make sure come down on time. I took the cable, hike up to the rock and the view was breathtaking! Prepare some food to munch as don’t really have time for a proper lunch if you wanna walk more. Wear a good grip sport shoes will do. The ginkgo park was kind a distance of drive and took half an hour walk to the temple. Overall recommended this tour! Must do in autumn!
There was a heavy traffic jam on the weekend, so I didn’t actually have much time to play, but I still felt good after seeing the beautiful scenery! I highly recommend the local tour guide Sky this time. He has good language skills, is very considerate and humorous, and the travel time is well controlled except for traffic jams.
Seoraksan Mountain is beautiful and the scenery is charming, but the weather happened to be bad that day, with intermittent wind and rain; all the ginkgo leaves in Yongmensa Temple fell off, which was a pity. I recommend Jun, the local tour guide this time. He speaks English very well and has no problem communicating. He is also very considerate and will ask about the status of each group member and pay attention to safety. He is very enthusiastic in replying to any questions about traveling in Korea. In addition to driving that day, he also takes the group members in the park. Let’s go for a walk, thank you for your hard work👍
The scenery is beautiful, the cable car is not too crowded and it arrives quickly, so you don’t have to wait for a long time, but there are not too many red leaves.
The tour guide is great; enthusiastic and kind. It is very comfortable to absorb phytoncides. It is a beautiful place ~ easy to travel
The scenery of Seoraksan Mountain is beautiful, and the walking trails are not difficult to follow. The only problem is the transportation time. Especially if you leave on Sunday, Seoraksan is a tourist hotspot in autumn. There were a lot of cars that day. We departed from Dongdaemun at 7 o'clock that day and could get off at 11 o'clock to start the tour. The return time was 3:30 pm, but we didn’t return to Dongdaemun until 10 pm. The traffic jam is very serious! It is strongly recommended to avoid starting on Sunday unless necessary!
This was our best tour here in Seoul. Jangkiwhan, aka Sky, made the trip very enjoyable. From start to finish he was very pleasant, friendly, funny, and informative. He made sure everyone was having a good time. There were a couple hiccups which he handled very calmly and professionally. We would book with him again.
Not so good tour. Its very far. Due to long ride it is very tiring. The tour guide is not talking, not giving enough information about the place. Cost of the trip is expensive due to long distance. Not recommended trip.
There will be really big traffic jams if you go there on weekends. It takes almost ten hours to ride back and forth. In the middle, you only have three hours in Seoraksan, but it is still very beautiful. If you want to come here, I recommend coming on weekdays so that you can have a longer experience of activities.
