- Lumber Storage A lot of lumber is needed to restore the Seiden. A "timber warehouse/processing plant" to store and process the lumber and a "actual size area" to draw full-scale drawings were completed. * The contents of the exhibition may change depending on the progress of the restoration work.

What to expect
"Shuri Castle" boasted of its majestic appearance as the center of politics, diplomacy and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom. In 1992, it was restored as a national park to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Okinawa's reversion to Japan, and in December 2000, the "Shuri Castle Ruins" was registered as Japan's 11th World Heritage Site. In October 2019, a fire destroyed the main buildings, including the Seiden. Currently, under the theme of "Reconstruction to show", we are open to the public to see the restoration efforts and the state of reconstruction.
Please present your voucher on a device with internet access, such as a smartphone. Booked vouchers can be viewed by logging in to the Klook app/site and clicking "View Voucher" in the booking record.

New Year’s Day visit was really awe inspiring and amazing particular with live musical performances held by castle to welcome New Year. kids enjoyed the walk around castle and some hands on activities
great scenery place and nice park. everything is well maintained and the undergoing construction process is amazing as it's well covered and show you each and every level their are renovating.
You can buy it and use it. After purchasing, you will have a voucher. Click on the link inside and there will be a Qrcode. When you enter the venue, scan the Qrcode for the staff. In Japan, I didn’t buy the Internet, but there is free wifi at the light rail and the gate of Shuri Castle. You can use it. Buy and open the Qrcode first when you are online (screenshots are also available). The price is the same as buying on the spot (400 yen), but the exchange rate is very good and you can earn points for free in Shurijo Castle Park (you can see that there is a tourist service center in the outer wall park) Some animations are shown) This ticket is just to see the main building of Shuri Castle which is currently being restored
Now the only things worth seeing are the sturdy walls and gates, but restoration work is progressing, and I'm looking forward to its completion next year. There was something called Shuri Soft. It's convenient to buy tickets online (KLOOK).
Upon arrival, I was able to purchase tickets and use them immediately through Klook. I received the voucher in a very short time. When entering, I simply had the staff scan the QR code. It was quick and convenient. I highly recommend purchasing admission tickets this way to avoid queuing at the ticket office.
The castle still under rebuilt but it was great to see the whole rebuilt insights on the planning , tiles making , wood selection , wood structural engineering , paint souring….etc. we enjoyed our visit .
I'm glad I was able to see Shuri Castle under construction. No matter how many times I come, I'll enjoy watching it change over time. I'd like to come again.

It is very convenient to use klook to buy tickets. You only need to swipe the QR code to enter. Shuri Castle is being rebuilt after the fire. It is less beautiful than before, but you can see the Japanese people’s hard work in rebuilding.
It's better to purchase tickets online as it’s cheaper than buying them on-site. Plus, it's convenient to just scan the QR code at the entrance instead of queuing to buy tickets.
