It was a wonderful trip with Zhu Li, a very kind, patient, and attentive guide. Thanks to him and the company, we saw the amazing place of Kamakura and Enoshima Island, with picturesque views. Incredible experience with Allan, our guide from Gogoday! Despite having a huge group of 40+ people from 15 different countries on a busy Golden Week Sunday (which Allan rightly called Mission Impossible), he handled it flawlessly. Allan was incredibly organized, providing detailed briefings and tailored recommendations for every stop. He also set up a dedicated chatgroup for easy communication and answered all our questions patiently. Also kudos to the group for being punctual throughout the tour, allowing us to cover everything. Highly recommend this fast-paced, value for money tour if your want to make the most of your trip!

Choosing the classic Kamakura/Enoshima for a day trip from Tokyo in August was truly a stroke of genius. If we had gone to Mount Fuji as originally planned, we would have been disappointed by the clouds. Our guide, Lee Han-san, was fluent in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, and had a charmingly witty way with words. He provided a delightful and memorable experience for our diverse group on the tour bus. The experience of seeing the Great Buddha of Kamakura, eating curry bread, visiting the Slam Dunk railway crossing, the beach, and feeling the wind at the Enoshima Sea Candle observation deck was truly precious. We also thank Mr. Fukushima for driving us safely through the heavy rain on our way back.

It was a truly fulfilling trip! Thanks to our guide, Mr. Lee Han-san, and our driver, we heard various explanations and were able to finish comfortably without wasting any time! We visited Komachi-dori, then Kamakura High School Station (by tram), the Great Buddha of Kamakura, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and the Enoshima course, and it was a little past 5 PM when we returned. We also had some free time at Komachi-dori and Enoshima, which was wonderful!

The itinerary is good but just tooooo much walking! Really enjoyed Kamakura and Enoshima very well! Our guide walks too fast, it would be better if he slowed down a bit so that we can enjoy the place more. Also, it's okay to go back around 7pm as long as we have enjoyed the place. On this day trip to the warehouse, I was very fortunate to meet the experienced tour guide, Mr. Kim Myung-cheol, who added many precious memories to my journey. From the beginning, Mr. Kim shared numerous stories about the background of the attractions and local customs, which made the trip much more interesting. At each site, he proactively helped guests take photos and recommended century-old restaurants for lunch, allowing us to savor local specialties. Mr. Kim also emphasized punctuality for meeting times, repeatedly reminding everyone to gather at the designated spot on time to avoid affecting other travelers' itineraries, showing great responsibility. The return journey was not wasted either; he provided interesting introductions, even mentioning popular items at Japanese convenience stores, and encouraged us to discover things for ourselves. There was even a small surprise at the end. The guide was professional, enthusiastic, and fully engaged throughout the entire trip. Thank you very much!

In December, Kamakura is draped in the gentle serenity of the winter sun, as delicate as golden gauze. At dawn, the Great Buddha sits serenely at Kotoku-in. Its bronze hue is calm, its palms dusted with last night's frost. The surrounding ginkgo trees have long since shed their leaves, their branches sketching fine ink lines across the gray-blue sky. We walk around the Buddha, watching the sunlight slowly climb its face, and suddenly realize that this Great Buddha, weathered by time and once housed in a wooden temple, truly understands the meaning of "impermanence is constant." Moving on to Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine, the cherry trees lining the stone steps are bare, with only iron-gray branches remaining. Worshippers breathe out white puffs of air as they clap their hands in prayer before the dance hall, the crisp sound echoing in the frigid air. The water in the purification font is bone-chillingly cold, yet it brings an extraordinary clarity to the mind. My wife tied an omamori, saying she wanted to bring this tranquility home with her. In the afternoon, we took the Enoden train to Enoshima. The Nakamise-dori street to Benten-do is sparsely populated, lacking the hustle and bustle of summer. Instead, we could hear the sound of the waves coming from afar. The aroma of teppan senbei from the old shops warmed us. We shared freshly baked octopus crackers, watching the shopkeeper calmly flip them on the griddle, as if time itself had slowed down. Climbing the approach to Enoshima Shrine, the vermilion tower gate faced the desolate winter sea. In front of Benten-do Hall, people clasped their hands in prayer – perhaps praying for improvement in their artistic skills, or perhaps simply seeking peace of mind. The sea breeze, carrying the scent of salt, brushed through the wind chimes, and the broken chimes chimed softly among the bare branches, somehow adding even more zen than when they were whole. Before dusk, we strolled to Kamakurakoko-mae Station. The train slowly passed the deep blue Shonan Sea, with waves lapping against the deserted beach. In that moment, I suddenly understood why Kamakura always leaves people longing: it has distilled tranquility from the most turbulent history, and retained spaces of emptiness within the busiest attractions. The desolation of winter allows us to see the city as it truly is – not blooming for anyone, but quietly breathing in harmony with the mountains and the sea. On the train ride home, my wife dozed off on my shoulder. The silhouettes of temples in the twilight, like faint ink sketches, flashed past the window. We didn't rush this day, but simply wandered at will, gathering a heartful of clear moments in the winter of Kamakura. This arrangement was very considerate of our guide, ATan.

A guide provided amusing and informative details about all of the sites we visited and made sure that we were all able to follow the packed itinerary and we didn't lose anybody on the trip . This is a really great way to see all of these important sites without worrying about how to get there or how to get back. I highly recommend using this tour to get to the location featured in the anime Slam Dunk. I had a fantastic time and was very satisfied with this tour.

The meeting point was clear, but the flag was not very noticeable. Our group tour had over 30 passengers with three different language backgrounds on the bus, accompanied by two guides (who spoke English, Korean, and Chinese). The guides were very attentive and took good care of everyone. They also made sure to remind us not to get off at the wrong station when we took the Enoden train. The overall itinerary wasn't too rushed; we visited all the planned sights, and the weather was excellent! I highly recommend both guides!

If you're a fan of the anime Slamdunk, then this trip is a must. I was so happy to see in person the railway and train station in Kamakura featured in the opening credits of Slamdunk. Our tour guide, Allan Tan, was funny and entertaining. Though the trip was a bit fast-paced, he made sure we covered everything in the itinerary. I also enjoyed going to the Enoshima Island and the food there was great as well. All in all, I recommend joining this tour.
