store is easily locatable and very close to the bus stop. we had a lot of fun taking photos in the picturesque streets of kyoto
First of all, we arrived at the shop on time, but the staff were still busy with the group ahead of us. We ended up waiting 1.5 HOURS and needed to reschedule our photographer because of the delay. The owner was apologetic and offered snacks and drinks to us while we were waiting. Kimono selection was good and staff was nice, if we didn't wait for so long I would have given 5 stars.
we could easily locate the store and the road outside the store would be the first one to take a very good Kyoto style photo in kimono. very polite staff, they were very helpful. four starts since my kimono loosened up by afternoon.
It is a place that has many options of Kimonos and yukatas to choose from. We were able to take some really cool photos around Gion and Pontocho river with very few people because we booked early. The hairstyle they did for her was amazing and they did it super fast.
This was a really beautiful experience. Their shop was one of the cheapest in the area but still very beautiful kimonos. The alley outside of their shop is also such an aesthetic experience. The shop owners were very polite and helpful. Must experience when in Kyoto!
The place is awesome. It is a good place to go for kimono outfits. You can see classic houses in the area as well.
excellent service especially for the lady who look after for me, many options for kimono to wear. location is awesome, and very nice.
The staff in the shop were very lovely. I was about 30 minutes late due to the rather time-consuming travel in Kyoto, but the shop didn't mind. They gave excellent advice on colors, outfits, and hairstyles. The location is superb, not a long walk at all, and the shop wasn't too crowded or chaotic.
The location is great and the shop is cute! You can choose from 6 hairstyles, and I chose number 6 as recommended, and they did a great job. I went on a date wearing a couple kimono, and there were so many people in Kyoto that I was a little nervous, but I enjoyed sightseeing and took a lot of pictures! If it's your first time in Kyoto, I definitely recommend the kimono & yukata experience!!! It's fun to take pictures. I felt bad about taking my clothes off ㅠㅠ But please wear your own shoes and only use the wooden clogs for pictures~
Best location to go around Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka Street, Kiyomizu-dera. The kimono was cute. We brought along our luggage, they even let us keep it with them even after returning the kimono. As a hijabi girl, they have non-hair styling options that others don’t have, which more cheaper.
