thanks to Nancy, we enjoyed our trip today! the trips covers 3 places and we don't think it is too tiring to work or to explore. while the temperature is cold especially when there is wind, it is manageable as long you come with a jackets in January.
Our tour guide Nancy is very kind and friendly. We were lucky as the group size is not too big and no traffic jam on that day. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommended. Just note that some deers can be quite persistent/ aggressive.
The tour guide and driver were very friendly and took us to amazing spots! We were given enough time to explore each place for about 1.5 hours so I recommend picking 2 things to do at each place so you have time. The van was air-conditioned and our group was small so we could easily make friends. I definitely will take this tour again!
It is a rather distant tour, taking more than 2 hours to drive. The vehicle used is a van because the entrance to Gayama Castle is narrow. The number of people should be limited. Join a group of no more than six people. As for the return time from Nara city, it should be 4:30 p.m., reducing the time at the fish market to an hour and a half is enough.
Really good tour you get plenty of time at each location to explore. Kevin was a great guide and very knowledgeable. No rushing about a very relaxing day.
There is a tourist bus to pick you up and drop off throughout the journey, which is convenient and comfortable. The tour guide is good and explains the itinerary carefully. This is the second time I have gone there, and it is much more convenient than taking the train by myself. Although the seafood in Kuroshio Market is relatively expensive, there are many choices. There is a tuna cutting show in the middle. Overall, the seafood can be grilled and there are a lot of sashimi and choices. There is also a theme park nearby that you can visit, so the overall itinerary is quite rich. Finally, I was lucky enough to see a double rainbow in the east belt. Hope it’s a lucky start!
The itinerary was well arranged, and there was enough time to visit the first two scenic spots. However, because I had to drive for an hour and a half on the left on Saturday, the last trip to Nara to watch deer took 40 minutes, so I had to go back and forth to watch deer. (Buyers' Letter/Photos Photographing/feeding deer) is really a rush... If there is no traffic jam, you can go more time, the trip will be perfect. The tour leader Alan is so funny, thanks for the hard work of the driver and the other tour leader
First go to Wakayama Castle; then go to the Kuroshio Market to watch the fish show, and have lunch with grilled seafood. I am really impressed by the beautiful environment, and I want to buy peaches that are flat and fragrant; finally go to Nara to watch the deer. There are really a lot of deer, this time Zhong Zhong will be attacked by a deer, almost snatching a box of cakes, scared to death. The tour guide Alan is worthy of praise. He is humorous and knows Chinese, English, and Japanese. He explains it very clearly.
First go to Wakayama Castle, there are a lot of mountain roads to go, but there are sticks that can be borrowed; after that, go to the Kuroshio Market to watch the tuna show (tuna dissection show), and have lunch; stay with us and then go to Nara to watch deer and visit Todaiji Temple. The program is quite rich, and I arrived at the scenic spot on time. I have enough time to visit and take pictures for my elderly. The sun is shining on the day and I can take beautiful photos🌞
good timing for 3 sites across 2 cities from Osaka. would have been harder to do it in a day by train on my own. would be nice if thr tour includes the 400yen entry for the castle. I know it's not much money but did expect that for a tour. Deer are so cute. castle at wakayama is beautiful. the food at the market is a Bit disappointing. tour guide really didn't do much, didn't give us advise of how to explore the huge area. basically paying for the van. a bit rush on each site but I totally understand we can't make it back in time otherwise.
