Surf Lessons In Kuta Bali

This booking was really great that I booked twice in a day! I had the private 1 on 1esson with Coach Ringo and he helped me with my stance and taught me how to surf better. All the staff were kind and accommodating as well, and even made some friends with some of the people who booked on the same day. The pictures were a plus as well. Overall I just love this place and will definitely come back when I visit Bali again :)

worth it to try if you are in Bali. Instructor was patient and knowledgeable. One thing to note is that they do not allow you to rinse off at their shower cubicle after you are done surfing.

This is a review of UP2U Surf School. They safely stored our valuables in a locker and were very accommodating with our schedule. Even though I don't speak English well, the lesson was no problem, and instructor Chris taught at a level appropriate for us. I missed checking my email (the email from the company was classified as spam), so we couldn't make it at the scheduled time, but they arranged an instructor for us when we showed up unexpectedly. We booked a 2:1 private lesson and are very satisfied as it allowed us to surf successfully at a great price. I will definitely book again on my next visit to Kuta. I'll be sure to check my email properly next time. I highly recommend UP2U Surf School.

As our English is not good, we were always worried that we would not be able to understand. Fortunately, the instructor was very attentive and knew a little bit of Chinese, and successfully stood on the surfboard. We can really book more lessons next time to improve our surfing techniques.

Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try out surfing. And if you are coming to bali, you must try. 90 mins session with photos.

Location: Kuta waves are perfect for beginners to learn surfing. Experience: Very good first experience. Instructor: Very responsible, with detailed explanations. Accompanied us throughout the whole session to ensure safety and provided timely guidance.

instructor Ari was amazing. Places safety as his priority. We were given theory slides to learn a day before the session. Did some stretching and taught us how to carry the surfboard, how to choose a surfboard, how to get onto the board, feet placement etc. Photos were part of the package. Had to purchase 50000 it for all videos. Photo were quite over exposed. Hahaha, but its okay, experience and proper teaching was amazing

I made a good choice choosing UP2U for 1st time surfing experience. Learn how to handle the surf board, how to standing and paddling in 2 hours with a short 15-min break in between. There are morning and afternoon sessions to choose. It was fun. The instructor was patient and friendly. They kept your mobile phone and wallets in a small safe in the office. No individual lockers. There is a public shower and toilet nearby with a small fee (5000 Rp as of Apr 2025). You will get about 10 pictures for free but have to pay for the video files if you want.
